Anglosaxon is gonna come back and say, no Roy Jones wasn't shot. Calzaghe only said he was shot so he could get Roy Jones in the ring with him.....:hi::patsch

I think Jones takes it but the fight is way closer than most here seem to think. I see Roy knocking Joe down, and Joe really firing back and disrupting Jones who was used to being completely dominant.
Roy gets too much credit, and Joe doesn't get enough, but this is because of all the "what ifs", the fights that didn't happen. By the time they met it was a waste of time, and Rpy's knockdown of Joe whent hey did meet was hardly a proper knockdown.

Jones 118-109, with kd, and a VERY easy night.

Calzaghe has NO advantage over Jones. Not one.

Jones was 35 years old when Johnson beat him. His glory days were over. It shows how great a figter Roy was that you have to reach for **** that's all but irrelevent. Neither Tarver or Johnson would have beaten him two years prior.

PS - Incidentally - I can't name many fighters that Calzaghe fought who were better than Glen Johnson. I'd give you Hopkins and Kessler (maybe) then I'd be struggling. Don't mention Jones as an opponent because he was shot to **** and you know it.

You are almost as dumb as they other two ****s!

Journeyman Glen Johnson was a great fighter now?:rofl:rofl The guy has 10 losses, he lost to CLINTON WOODS! the same Clinton woods who ducked me.

How old was Johnson when he sparked out RJJ incidently?

Form is temporary class is permanent, proving, RJJ was never a classy operator, just a cherry picker.

Prior to Tarver smashing the hell out of RJJ, who had RJJ beaten? Hype jobs and over the hill fighters that he cherry picked.

If RJJ was shot at 35, shows what a terrible athlete he was, he had to juice up on roids, he had to cherry pick, was involved in no wars, ducked teh big boys in his division, then gets sparked out twice in a row by sub-standard Ameribums.

Calzaghe smashed an ATG prime p4p3 and LHW 1 at the age of 37 when his main asset, his KO power was long gone, not only did he do that, but he did that fighting in the USA for the first time, blown up from SMW and shot to pieces.

You rojo's are completely insane and should be banned from ESB.:dead:dead:dead

Glen Johnson is garbage. he's a journeyman plodder who lost to Omar Sheika, who Calzaghe then went on to completely decimate. Calzaghe was also ringside at a Woods v Johnson fight, with the view to set up a fight with Johnson, but Johnson lost to Sheffield's finest export since Def Leppard, Clinton Woods.:rofl:patsch

Exactly, the only thing that makes these Rojo's bearable is the hilarious way they try and justify RJJ cherry picking ways and claims to greatness, yet each time falling flat and further glorifying Super Joe Calzaghes resume.:happy:happy

I know man, and they have also shamelessly swarmed this thread, corruptly voting in blocks so the poll is rendered redundant. Disgraceful behaviour. :patsch

Rojos getting pwned with irrefutable, scientific facts. The Italian Dragon mauls Glass Jaw Jones any time, any place, anywhere. :bbb:happy

    Y'all musta forgot. PWNED.
