Griffin never beat anyone of note bar hype job Toney who had already ben outboxed by others.

Griffin was Hartleys height :lol: Griffin bemused him and frustrated him so bad, RJJ took a lousy cheap shot and ruined Griffin, Griffin wasn't the same guy after that hence why he folded in the reamtch, but prime Griffin beat the **** out of RJJ:deal

I'm not even going to compare Calzaghe to RJJ anymore, as its been proven with scientific facts Joe is vastly superior in every department to RJJ, therefore, I change this thread title to 94 RJJ vs 2008 Froch.

Froch definately has issues with RJJ speed and footwork, but, Froch lands on that glass jaw, its over, I give this one a 52-48 favour to RJJ, but I wouldnt be suprised at all if an 08 Froch knocked out a 94 RJJ.

I fully concur. We are flogging a dead horse now with these deluded rojo nuthuggers.

As slow and cumbersome as Froch is, if he landed one of his stellar uppercuts on prime Jones' disgraceful Chin, it's Goodnight Vienna. :deal

Speaking of Hartley, you must be near fighting weight now. How much more weight have you got to cut down?

I'm not sure RJJ ever fought anyone with Frochs heart or power, Froch would just stalk him and smash him.

Given a few mins to weigh up the pro's and cons of this match up, I am starting to favour Froch more, that joke of a chin just couldn't take being tagged by someone like Froch.

I was nearing 170, then i gained 3 lbs, so I have 8lbs to cut, however, I am still waiting on Andrew to send me the contract, he said 2 days ago its ready, he just needed my email, but still nothing!

I never said Johnson was a great fighter. Can you quote me on that? I said he was better than the majority of Calzaghe's opposition. You provided little evidence to the contrary. Woods ducked you?

Jones being shot at 35 proves he was a terrible athlete? Have you any idea how many fighters don't have it in their mid thirties? It's a miracle that Jones lasted as long as he did at that level. Jones fought 1000's of amateur rounds and 100's of professional rounds and his drop back to 175lbs (in 2004) destroyed him as a fighter.

And is the P4P number 3 and Light Heavy Number 1 that Calzaghe "smashed", Bernard Hopkins? What age was Ex when Calzaghe "smashed" him? The fight was razor close and Calzaghe was made to look like dog ****, he couldn't land a punch of any significance.

What age was Jones when Joe "eventually" signed a contract? How you can sit with a straight face and call Jones a cherry picker while riding Calzaghe's nuts is hilarious. You're a ****in hypocrite who gets off on lost causes like they other two planks.

The only good fighter RJJ fought before he faced Calzaghe was McClennan, Gman schooled him constantly in sparring and beat the **** out of him in theGG, he nearly had RJJ out of the olympics bar the injury he suffered meaning he had to pull out.

Why do you think RJJ avoided the McClennans, Eubanks and Benns of boxing as if they were SARS or H1N1? he knew he was a bicth fighter that could only pot shot against static robotic Ameribums.

You seriously question Hopkins was p4p3 and lhw 1 ? then use his age? despite his best win coming against undefeated undisputed champ Pavlik? his best win and best performance, thus proving he was pruime, explain that one you torpedo headed twerp.

Couldn't land a shot? razor thin?

    pwned.

Froch beat the **** out of Dirrell, Dirrel was too scared to fight incase he had to taste Frochs power, hence why Froch won comfortably.

Highlighted Point 1: You're ****in ******ed

Highlighted Point 2: Find me ONE QUOTE from ANY of they fighters who support that statement you ****in dope!

Highlighted Point 3: Hopkins was the best light heavyweight in the world but was he a better fighter than he was 6-7 years prior? No, he ****in wasn't and his best win is Trinidad. Pavlik, despite being solid, is one dimensional. A 42 year old in his prime? Grow up you doss *****!

Highlighted Point 4: Calzaghe looked ****in awful against Hopkins and B-Hop wasn't far behind. Calzaghe's work was horrible to look at and Bernard didn't throw enough. Calzaghe deserved it but I wouldn't watch that bollocks again if you paid me and you're boasting about it like it means ****?

Highlighted Point 5: Froch beat the **** out of Dirrell? He could barely touch him SPASTIC!

In closing - you're in no position to slate anyone's look you ugly lookin ****. Take your Top Gun volleyball pose and stuff up your ginger ass! Get Headbanger and 46and0 to help you out!

When has Joe ever shown that he could be easily knocked out? Never!
I can think of a couple of occasions when Roy has. Calzaghe was just as quick as him back then and it he could really punch at the time.
I wouldn't like to say either way who would win but I would expect it to go the distance in a very close match and an extremely entertaining fight.

Calzaghe was in deep **** after being dropped in the first round against Jones and Roy had been exumed from his grave the night prior! There are dicks on this board who have the nerve to say Calzaghe was shot that night:lol:

I appreciate your analysis dude but Jones from mid nineties until 2003 would split Calzaghe like a kit kat! The figures on this poll don't lie, it's a landslide.

1: You self pwned yourself by not being able to counter.

2: I am not google, i am the star, you do the donkey work not a star like me, you go fetch the quotes.

3/4: Aside from being unable to get Hops age right, he was **** beating up blown up ww's in his younger days, he completely ducked a prime Calzaghe, and as he reached his prime he thought he could cope with a blown up smw shot Calzaghe. HOP WAS P4P3 Many people regard Pac and Mayweather as 2 top 50 atg's, so aside from 2 exceptionally gifted fighters ever, Hop was the worlds best and Clazaghe put a clinic on him from round 4 onwards.

Calzaghe also threw more, landed more jabs, more power shots, would have knocked Hop out if Cortez didn't cheat, and he ring raped Hop infront of his onlooking family who were screaming ''NOOooooooo'' from ringside, thats the ultimate humiliation, all Hop could do was eat more Calzaghe combos.

Finally, you're some wrinkled balding ancient ruptured testicle trying to compete with a pro undefeated boxer and former model, look at me look at you.

    The end cueball.:smooch

    Hopkins didnt duck Calzaghe

Hopkins was in the Ring top 10 P4P 1999 - 2004, 2006 - 2009, broke into the top 10 P4P 3 years after winning the IBF MW title.

    Top 3 P4P 2002 - 2004

    Hopkins was P4P #1 in 2002, and 2004

Calzaghe was in the Ring top 10 P4P 2006 - 2009, broke into the top 10 P4P 9 years after winning the WBO SMW title

Calzaghe's highest P4P rating was #3, in 2008, 11 years after winning the WBO title.

Calzaghe was considered bull**** opposition according to the Ring until 2006 :deal

Calzaghe was considered a bit better in 2008 when he reached #3.

Not even BBC has had Calzaghe in the top 2 P4P, so the argument The Ring is American is invalid.

Not saying Calzaghe ducked Hopkins either. But those facts show Calzaghe was just not respected enough
