Mate the world doesn't revolve around England or even Europe for that matter. Montel Griffin gave him hell?? Are you shore you got the right fight??
Near prime Jones, Shot blown up Calzageh. Did you read the dates Calzageh's prime was well after Jones.
Get your god damn head out of your European ass and actually follow boxing.

I think you are neglecting the very real chance of a stoppage in this one. Calzaghe's chin is overrated, he was dropped by Kabary Salem remember. If an ancient, toothless B-Hop and a shot-to-smithereens Jones can put Calzaghe down, then a peak Jones has the firepower to bury him. Calzaghe's sloppy, lazy defence would make his head target-practice for Jones's lightning-quick hooks, and with Jones landing regularly it would only be a matter of time before the dam burst.

prime calzaghe is too much for prime jones. you must remember that when a shot to **** calzaghe dismantled jones, he didn't do it through power, he did it by boxing roy jones head off with skills :vonnecunt

when the going got tough roy jones folds like a lawn chair, he has no heart, has no plan B and a disgraceful glass jaw. joe calzaghe is no sanitation worker :deal

when the going got tough, thats when you saw the real joe calzaghe, thats when the animal instinct came out of him. as well as incredible skills and reflexes, calzaghe had incredible heart, a granite chin, and the priceless ability to adapt styles during a fight :yep

i voted for calzaghe by UD but thats probably being generous to jones because by round 7 or 8 roy would have been worn down by calzaghe's relentless workrate, and if we are talking about prime calzaghe before his horriffic hand problems then he would have more than likely stopped jones around the 10/11 round mark, with the boogie woogie coming out in round 9 :deal

The option "Jones by KTFO in 5 seconds" is missing, I call that.

If Byron Mitchell, Evans Ashira, Cadbury Salem, and Charles Brewer can give Calzaghe a TOUGH fight.

    RJJ would have murdered Calzaghe.

you are arguable the top analyst on esb 46and0, in what round of this bout would you envisage joe calzaghe bringing the boogie woogie out? :think

I'd envisage Joe Calzaghe bringing the boogie woogie out of your mouth and spraying his victory cheddar all over your grateful face after around... 2 minutes of action?

I would have to say round number 8. He would clown Jones and take him to the deep end. Then the inevitable boogie woogie would commence, and the Jones nuthuggers would start formulating their excuses again, e.g. "he was weight-drained", "he was out of his prime" etc etc.

I disagree with this...Jones wins, but it wouldn't be an easy night, Calzaghe's style would be trouble alone for Jones.

Calzaghe was a ***** he was pushing Cadbury Salem's brother just to hype up the fight during the weigh in, since nobody gave a **** about Calzaghe's worthless defenses up until Lacy, and after Lacy no body gave a **** about Calzaghe's bull**** defenses up until Kessler.

He can push Cadbury Salem brother, but when Hopkins called him a ***** ass white boy in front of his face he just stood there. Then got floored in the first round and started have homosexual fantasies in the ring about doing a black man who was turning away. Then refused to go near Hopkins, Froch, Dawson, or even Pavlik. But still continued chatting **** behind closed doors on Carl Froch.

Froch and Hopkins reminded Calzaghe of his school days when he used to get bullied.

With all this mental stress, and Calzaghe knowing he is a ***** deep inside, started to take Cocaine to act like Tony Montana.

And also deep inside wanted to remove those homosexual fantasies he had in the ring against Hopkins, so went to Strictly come dancing to remove some doubts he got in his head
