Exactly, imagine how fast and good calzaghe would look against slow ass Toney or sanitation workers. Calzaghe smashed the world racord for punches in a minute, RJJ has folled so many people into thinking he is great, yet he got schooled by midget Griffin:rofl:rofl:rofl
One of the guys still around from my time in the ring is Roy Jones. I watched him the other day and I was not impressed with him. I was shocked really. I like fighters that go in and have a go so I was not impressed at all with Jones' fight. Having said that he is a different class of fighter - he is a very good technical fighter who does not like to get in there and mix it up. He will not throw a shot unless he knows he can hit you without getting hit. The top British super-middleweight is Joe Calzaghe who I really like to watch. BAM Nigel Benn pwns Rojo's. Pwnage, and spot on, RJJ was a shump that didn't like to get hit because of that Glass jaw.
As Joe Calzaghe prepares for his world-title clash with Richie Woodhall on December 16, he is already looking past his British rival to new challenges ahead. The WBO super-middleweight champion believes a fight with American boxing legend Roy Jones is a step nearer. Promoter Frank Warren will fly out later this week, with a date at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff in mind for next Spring. "It's the ultimate fight," said Calzaghe. Roy Jones The legendary Roy Jones is Calzaghe's long-term target "He's one of the best fighters in the world, it would be a massive challenge," he told BBC Wales Today. Oh gee, so much for the daily Mail mis-qoute, Rojo's pwned again. deals broke down twice with Roy Jones because Jones was petrified of facing Joe.
If Byron Mitchell ,No power in either hands Bernard Hopkins and an Old RJJ put Joe Calzaghe on the floor what does Roy Jones of 94 who was basically as un hittable as they come do to the Calzaghe ? With his power and speed Joe gets blown out same as Clinton Woods ..But hey at least Joe beat a prime Jones at the tender age of 40 ! Most of his fans feel with age you get younger as you get older so I see how they can think Joe smashd a prime Bhop and Jones ..:nut PS : Actions speak louder than words !! This content is protected
RJJ hit Calzaghe with an ILLEGAL forearm smash, and still got dominated by a shot blown up SMW. Mitchell no power? 21 of his 28 wins by KO, you really know **** all about boxing, you must be a closet UFC fan here to drive the rep of boxing fans down, clearly:roll: Remind me, what is Hopkins best win and performance? Pavlik, when did that happen? Exactly, pwned.
I read this and found the same article, but some people dont want to read these facts and just look for what they want to see. Good work
Roy Jones The legendary Roy Jones is Calzaghe's long-term target "He's one of the best fighters in the world, it would be a massive challenge," he told BBC Wales Today. 1year later than that BS qoute. LMAO RJJ even ducked Collins, and Collins ducked calzaghe Collins reportedly stated in the press that he had no motivation left as he had spent the best part of his career chasing Roy Jones Jr. for a unification fight that had been promised to him many times. He is reported to have stated in Boxing World that he has spent so long chasing Roy Jones Jr that money was not an important factor any more and that he would "fight him in a phone box in front of two men and a dog". BAHAHAHAHAHAH Rojos pwned.
we need to stop owning anglo. with his ******ation and all he needs to have some delusional thoughts that he is actuall something good .
We? A: You cheer on the sidelines like a highschool ***** waiting to take the first nut that glances your way and rewards you for your excessive blind cheering B: No ones owned me, so stop with your delusional rants, my haters are unable to even conceive of a way to counter my factual points.smooch
Calzaghe didnt have tough fights, because he was head and shoulders above the rest, but lets not pretend he avoided them. Look at The Rings ratings for The Ring mag 1998 ratings 1. F Liles 2. J Calzaghe 3. R Woodhall 4. S Ottke 5. C Brewer 6. R Reid 7. T Tate Liles got KOd by Mitchell who Calzaghe KOd, Joe beat Woodhall, Ottke wouldnt fight him, Joe beat Brewer, Joe beat Reid and was scheduled to face Tate, but Tate pulled out and retired instead. Thats hardly a fighter avoiding the tough fights. (quote inspired by ESB user Cobbler)
:happy Its been well documented RJJ and Hopkins blatantly refused to fight him too. Furthermore, Reid was robbed against Ottke, and Joe beat Reid with a broken hand. I have to go now, gym, so cheerio.
How many true ko's did Joe have, and I am not talking tko's I mean true knockouts... And who were they against? And rounds boxed don't really prove who had more power, many fighters were afraid to engage Roy, so he was content to sit and potshot a lot of the time. Joe on the other hand had a high ko percentage because he outworked most with his work rate, not because of elite power. Roy Jones at his best was leagues above Calzaghe in punching power at Joe's best. This is irrefutable. When are you fighting that Hartley guy Anglo? I want to see it, are you gonna get it on tape?:hey
Is that the same Steve Collins who lost to Reggie Johnson in order to get a crack a Roy ?? Is that the same guy ?? Check your facts Anglo ! Ah its gotta be harder than this to argue with you ..Nice try :good
