Once again TG1 cheapens the tone of this sensible boxing debate with his potty-mouthed tirades. Someone please ban this n00b. :ban:ban1

I'm not too sure how much trouble he was actually in but I guess we'll never know.
I still maintain that it would be a close fight.

I don't think that any of them ducked each other, it was purely circumstance. Let's just admit that they were all great fighters and each one of them was flawed in one way or another. Prime for prime it would have been a great series of fights.

Any anti Calzaghe arguement is a mute point when it comes to not meeting the two americans in their primes, as they roy and 'nard never met each other in their primes either (B-hop was not prime in that first fight).

Oh and the BBC installed Calzaghe as number one for a short time after the Kessler fight. He was replaced by Mayweather when he beat Hatton.

Cheers mate. It's about time these sorry old arguements were put to bed.
    What next?
Why didn't spiderman fight the green goblin in his prime?

Exactly...they are all great boxers, thats why people are arguing over them...who was better? who had the better resume?, etc.

It's been done, over done and then done some more though. They all should have squared off in the early 2000's but they didn't. It just annoys me because people make unproven remarks about who ducked who. It's all well and good talking and debating about how the fights would have gone but it soon regresses into who ducked who and posters trying get one up on each other through that age old "knowledge is power" adage!
