Prime Tyson stops Holyfield. Too much fire power coming too fast and to many angles. Could be the greatest fight ever. Any post Rooney Tyson loses to Holy though.

tyson was not the same fighter after prison. he wasnt the same fighter after rooney either. after rooney he was a shell of his former self. after prison forget it. he was a mere fraction of what he once was.

Thats his own problem. longevity is part of greatness. He wasn't shot after rooney left.

Tyson's speed and head movement would have been too much for Evander. I have nothing but respect for Evander but prime Tyson was physically too much, IMO.

Agreed. To much chin, too much heart, too much will for Tyson. Tyson's history showed if he didn't blast people out early, he either coasted (Smith fight) or got stopped late (Douglas, Holyfield).

Holyfield would not get knocked out quickly and therefore would expose Tyson's questionable ticker in the late rounds.

I was gonna say "of course, 96 Holyfield is more than 86-89 Tyson, it should be 96 Tyson as well so they're equal number." :D

    Um, Yeah.

Holyfield took part in numerous Classics.

Have you not seen Holyfield-Dokes either?

I am a very close student of both Holyfield's and Tyson's rise and I believe Holyfield wouldn't definitely outmuscle him or counterpunch him the way he found out to be possible to after the Buster Mathis Jr fight - tie him up inside, steal punching room and punching leverage and use his reach advanatage to score telling blows at medium range... Holyfield was only 202 pounds against Tillis and even at 210 pounds against Pinklon who had drug problems, was 19 months away after the Tyson loss, never dropped either man... He had a real struggle, candidate to fight of the year with Mike Dokes for the WBC Cont Americas Championship and he seemed to develop one punch kayo power just after the Rodrigues fight in Lake Tahoe and with Seamus McDonagh in Atlantic City with another struggle in between against Alex Steward ( 24-0, 24 Kayos and a 13-1 underdog) who never was dropped either... Tyson of 86-88 could be neutralized by clinching and pot-shooting like Tucker, Bonecrusher or Thomas were able to at certain points and I expected a lot from Spinks but after that one, the Douglas upset was really no more than a fluke.
