It's easy to say boxing doesn't help you in a fight, because street fighting is different etc etc, but the fact is it definitely comes in handy. I don't really want to get into talking about the ins and outs of experiences of such a topic over the internet, i'd feel a bit of an idiot doing that, but it defo helps. I think what you are saying though is that if you try to box a street fighter who is experienced you likely get smashed good.

 

i find it old habits like i get in a boxing stance and you end up looking like a *****

anyway im just stupid when i used to fight i used to think i was big and tough and could fight anyone - lets just say i wasnt that tough

boxing taught me alot like not to fight aswell alot of respect for people aswell

I'm imagining this quote was geared towards people who make a LIVING boxing, who've put everything else down to pursue a professional career. Big difference from some of us who've flirted with the sport as opposed to whom it's a lifestyle.

You're better off a trained boxer than not for a street fight IMO. If you treat it like a boxing match, that's ******ed, but boxing teaches you how to punch with force and take a blow as well as defend yourself.

Yeah, I ****ed hated seeing teammates slack off when I was busting my ass. Never again.

suppose so but boxing aint about fighting its an art and i dont like seeing boxers fight

i could actually murder a team mate if they slacked off. When im working i work hard and when someones slacking off i get really annoyed
