Its hard to say mate considering how short the fights were, you got caught kind of flat footed for number two, and didnt get up onto your hip when he had you flattened in 1/2, but after that he had pretty decent control, work on your mount escapes. Guy number one sort of gave you the TD, ok pass and with the finish try and keep more over his chest, to imobilise him more because if he had turtled away from you like his coach was saying he would have escaped. How long have you been training for man?
Thanks for the advice I've been doing Gi for about 3 months. I'm finding it pretty hard as there is so much to think about. Randomly on another note I got to share the mat with Leo Vieira tonight!!!! He didn't stay for the Gi class though... I guess he had stuff to do. Lynchburg
its always hard going against bigger guys but i thought it was a pretty fair effort lynchurg. good presence of mind to dig straight for the arm as soon as you passed. just keep your hips a bit lower and add a bit more weight. the second guy you were a bit unlucky and would have done better had the take down not turned straight into a mount. so it was a bit hard being straight on the back foot like that. also it looked like you were trying to put your back on the ground which is the right idea you were just going the wrong way. the opponents fingers will point the way out. if in doubt just get back to the centre of his chest as high as you can and start again. good job my man.
those guys seemed pretty **** no defense at all. I think i will roll with you im not even a blue belt but im pretty sure i could submit you. fatburg
Any time you want :deal You weigh about 140lbs so I doubt I'll have any problems submitting you in under 3 minutes Don't be scared homie... Lynchburg
