I think it's going to be a "come from behind t/ko" for Maidana, because I expect Khan to box circles (litterly) around Marcos but eventually getting caught.
Being it by Amir losing concentration, Marcos going for broke or a lucky punch doesn't matter... I don't think he can hold Maidana off for the full 12 rounds.

    Khan by wide decision

Maidana by KO in rounds 1-7, I can see Khan initially outboxing him, then getting cocky, getting hit a few times, rocked badly and then knocked then out cold

Khan by UD, like 8-4 but gets dropped once or twice along the way.

If Khan got dropped twice or more, it could turn a 8-4 fight in his favor into a draw or a decision for Maidana.

    That would be exciting stuff.

Khan by early K.O too quick too sharp. Maidana will struggle

Yea make no mistake, I expect Maidana to get to do some damage, but it wont be easy for him.

Khan's speed overwhelms maidana. This amir khan isnt the same guy from 2 years ago when he was 22. Physically he's much stronger, mentally he's much stronger, and he's bascially following mannys route (freddie roach/alex ariza)...Where as before in his career I'm guessing he had nowhere near this level of training and nowhere near this level of sparring partners to push him.

I don't think Maidana's knockout power is what people make it out to be, and Khan's chin isn't as vulnerable at THIS POINT IN HIS CAREER that people make it out to be.

By rights, Khan should win this. He's faster, both with feet and hands. He has much better skills than Maidana. He has a smart coach who knows how to pick opponents and develop effective strategies against them. Can I see Khan outclassing Maidana and winning wide on points? Absolutely. Can I see Khan hitting Maidana with enough shots to get an accumulation stoppage late on (9th-12th)? Definitely.

But, as should be obvious by now: I am an idiot.
And, as an idiot, I've just got this feeling that, at some point, Khan is going to sit it the pocket long enough for Maidana to smack him. And Maidana will smack him. And it shall be over. The end.
