02 version of Tyson vs the current version of David Haye. He was much better in 02 than he was than the version that lost to kevin Mcbride Tyson was still very good puncher in the first 4 rounds and could have taken david haye out. Haye could Run for the first 5 rounds, win the remaining 7 with ease
Tyson would lay Haye out with the first better punch he lands, if Haye can run out 7-8 rounds, Tyson would gas out and Haye would have a field day( Tyson wasn't like Tua, who posed a threat for 12 rounds, his power diminished with every passing round)
Yeah, if Tyson lands flush early it's over for Haye. If he can survive the first 6 rounds, he could potshot his way to a decision, but Haye's stamina is poor as well. I will say Haye UD most times. Prime Tyson KO's Haye early 10/10 times
Haye is a very good heavyweight and was great at cruiser but Tyson was a different animal, even tho I'm a Brit and a massive haye fan I just could never see him winning this one.
Hmmm 02 Tyson was shot to pieces....took an amazing beating from Lewis for 8 rounds tho. Tyson would barely have 3 rounds at full throttle against Haye(He had 1 decent round against Lewis).....if Tyson doesn't get him out of there in 3 then it's Haye UD
didn't think the poll would be this one sided either way, People do realise the fact that this is a 2002 version of tyson Am talking about
Tyson always landed strong in the first round right up to Danny Williams and Kevin McNugget. Could Haye stand up.to it? Bear in mind that Tyson's last TWO opponents were the biggest he had ever faced (260lbs and 270lbs) and both were hurt by Tyson esp Williams. Logic says that even if a 2002 Tyson lands....Haye and his pencil neck can't take it.
Tyson would have intimidated Haye ..Probably would have played a factor and led to him getting knocked out early !
I think Tyson might just finish him myself. I could imagine Haye hurt by an early Tyson punch and just being caught again and rubber-legged. Haye might prove just too quick though.
