NO- someone mentioned pavlik is a great measurer of distance which i agree with but i haven't seen him exhibit a good mid-long range or inside game as he has just been able to fight outside. If hopkins is effective enough in the pocket i think he can win as i dont see him winning from range.
Also kelly's footwork is nothing special he's very flatfooted and there to be clinched held and mauled. Hopkins was able to clinch calzaghe when he held his feet and calzaghes footwork is much better so it will be interesting to see how pavlik adapts. I see hopkins being very effective early and it will be up to pavlik to make the right adjustments something which he hasn't had to do in his previous fights this will be key as even close to forty four you don't beat a guy of bernard's calibre with a jab and technically awful telegraphable right hand

I cant see it, i dont think Pavlik has enough variety in his attack to get through to Hopkins decisivley.

Work rate alone will get Kelly the UD

Maybe, but he'll definitely win. He'd kill Calzaghe too, but that chump is too afraid to fight him.

    No!
Even though Nard is way past it, he might still have enough to edge out the highly overrated Pavlik.

You think so? I can't see Hopkins taking a beating, evne if it is Pavlik he's facing & Bernard is getting older & older.

I think Hopkins is a very smart fighter, knows the tricks of the trade. I reckon he'll prove too be too cagey to be stopped by Pavlik. No one has stopped B-Hop & I don't see Pavlik becoming the first to do so.

If Pavlik does, then I think that would be a very, very good win for him. However, I just don't see it happening. I expect Pavlik to win, but I do think people are selling Hopkins short in the run up to this fight.

Should Hopkins win, then that would be a very significent result!

hopkins will hold head butt and grab all the way to a ud. or even a late stopage with a sucker punch. pavlic is so over rated. and hopkins will expose him.

I will probably feel bad for Hopkins after he gets ****ing pummeled by Pavlik, this will be a brutal beating. Hopkins will be a ****ing bobble head doll

i don't know i wouldn't count on it i just wanna see how pavlik reacts (see if he adapts) once his jab and right hand get taken away after that I'll know how the fights gonna go
