The Kabayel-Knyba stoppage was a too early though, it has to be said.
Knyba deserved a few more moments, and he'd done quite well, and Kabayel was cut.
A poor stoppage in the main event, and one of the worst stoppages ever was on the under-card (Roman Fury v Kevin Greenwood).
Very shady stuff. Just what I expect from professional boxing.

Knyba was dangerous with his long jab, but his stamina is questionable, this fight greatly added to his experience and I would like to see him against other good opponents, I would like to see Kabayel against Usyk...

    Usyk should fight him then!
But apparently Usyk is chasing easier, washed-up fighters.

I will definitely not pay a cent for usyk wilder. let's have meaningful fights for the three belt (undisputed in actuality) heavyweight champion.

There are only kabayel and wardley right now. They probably can fill a soccer stadium in Germany. And honestly usyk should be enough of a favorite to make it an ok risk reward proposition if he doesn't feel to old for it yet.

Kabayel started slow while Knyba was rushing, drowning, and working on something of a third gear through the first round. Even then, Agit landed some meaningful shot and put the fear or God into Damian with that one left hook to the body. Not nearly as bad a round as some portray it.

Kabayel looked a gear down from his usual pace, almost hard-sparring mode. Not happy with the stoppage, but it was a good step-up for Knyba, one that can make him improve and build platform for himself later on. Seemed to have won over many more fans.

Actually, might have been a half-decent stoppage. The ref seemed to have warned Knyba, and he had absolutely nothing. Saved a young fighter for later.

I would like to see Knyba fight Huni after some rebuilding for both.

I think Huni absolutely shuts his down. I really doubt he would look decent against the likes of Ajagba. Just very mediocre all around bar perhaps whiskers.

Huni seems to have better skills overall but Knyba showed a nice jab with some combos and a pretty good uppercut.

Knyba is good and deserves a chance, I would like to see him against a fighter like Makhmudov or Ajagba.

I haven't seen the fight. Is there a consensus that Kabayel would have won without the early stoppage or some of you have a different opinion?

I'm fine with seeing him against a stiff international journeyman or bargain basement gatekeeper like this - it'll tell us if he has any future in the international circuit.

Preferably have it outside Germany so we can actually properly see his durability and heart without it being waved off too soon.

My gut says he struggles if he blows his load trying to throw everything early like he did against Kabayel, he was slowing after only a a couple of rounds...
Yes, Kabayel was hitting body, like he does, and that slows you down quicker, but Knyba needs to show a lot more gas if he's going to survive gain against anyone at all at international level.

I suspect he'll never make anything noteworthy, but I'm absolutely fine with seeing him have a go at working up the levels - just not as a soft touch for top guys again, at least not without having clearly improved.

Knyba was gassing already and getting hit at will - very clearly too many levels between them.

It was coming - Knyba knew it, himself, but it's a shame he didn't get opportunity to show more heart.

I think there is a consensus . The early stoppage was just bad taste on a good event .
That said knyba in the first round was better than anybody would have expected !
