Marciano is too high imo, but maybe you factor in that he was a small HW in your p4p?

Ali at 2 is higher than most would have him and why five places over Louis?

Greb should probably be higher seeing to his amazing achievements. Most would probably have Langford, Armstrong and Charles higher as well.

Dempsey too high. Liston isn't ahead of Holmes imo. Probably too many HWs to be honest.

Calzaghe too high. Not higher than Jones. And where's Hopkins? Shouldn't he be above Hagler and even Monzon considering his work at LHW? Toney?

    No Arguello or Napoles?

These are some thing that pop up to me, but good work.

Yeah, Spinks should be there. And Foster ahead of guys like Liston, Dempsey, Foreman and Frazier.

Nice list my man. I didn't know half these guys at your age. You are off to a very good start - a solid foundation. Keep it up. You obviously love Boxing!

Now, I'm not trying to be rude here, but you should probably stop checking with r/boxing. For the most part I found that it is infested with casuals, bitter ones at that who can't accept you disagree with them or know more on a certain topic. They're not that knowledgeable either. They're not truly interested in Boxing - they're interested in echo chambers and upvotes (the bane of all reddit). People here are insanely knowledgeable and will guide you right. Forum use is also more personal and connecting than reddit use - this is actually a community (somewhat) and is usually positive.

My advice? Use the search bar. Go through all the old threads - anyone and anything that interests you. You are actually at the best ages to learn a substantial amount. That's what I did to build my historical knowledge. I joined in 2015, but spent 3 years lurking and didn't make my first post 'till 2018. You don't have to do that though - in fact, @George Crowcroft was in a similar position to you when he first joined and has built an exceptional well of knowledge by constant, early debate. @Gpater (or whatever his name was) as well. There are a LOT of resources on here - at least 14 years worth, and more is added daily.

At your age, I'd also advise against posting in all H2H threads (though still read them, you can find diamond like technical analysis to increase your watching ability) due to the high likelihood of arguments and people trying to 'own' you or insult you because of your age (which I and George experienced a lot). I'd say post in historical threads and actually watch fight films, maybe even try scoring. There are many here, much older than you and supposedly more experienced, that will not even watch the fights and fighters they talk and argue about, making inane points and arguments that can last for years. Don't do that.

Also, you should try to stay as unbiased as possible whilst learning something (or openly state your bias like some great crazy posters do). I (and many other posters) usually become biased on some topic or other. It's unavoidable, really, as you become more knowledgeable. Just try to recognise it (now I need to practise what I preach!).

There aren't any hard rules though (except the sticky in General). Don't feel you have to do anything I said - it's just advice from my personal opinions. Just come and go as you like, interact and enjoy yourself. If you keep posting you will easily separate the wheat from chaff if you have half a brain (which you obviously do). I'd like to see your list develop as it is very rare to see young posters here - keep posting!

I don't see much of any case at all for that.

who could be better than those two?

Hagler was the best ever middleweight. He, like Robinson, was perfect in every way, unbeatable at his peak.

and so was Jones who won titles from middleweight all the way up to heavyweight, not bothering to waste his time on a cruiser title

Jones was never lineal title at any weight and only won a vacant portion at middleweight and a trinket at heavyweight when Lewis was clearly the man. You’ve got to factor this in too. This isn’t Bob Fitzsimmons being undisputed at middle and heavy.
