I was about 17, 18 years ago. I'm about a year and a half younger than Wilder and two and a half years older than AJ

Boxing isn't a physique contest. I think Louis would beat this guy

QUOTE="Boxed Ears, post: 18937765, member: 42941"]Listen. I love Joe Louis and all. But since I got to this forum he's been held up as a guy who would beat all these modern heavyweights. Meanwhile, guys like Tua are treated like garbage. But can you guys honestly look at this and that and tell me that's a given?

You guys have got to be rational about this; I'm sorry.[/QUOTE]
I agree... Tua would be a nightmare for louis... The guy was a Monster physically i laugh when people say "marciano was the same size of tua , david was marciano with fat". Tua had a much thicker wider frame

Tua as an amateur was in the 201-pound weight class, maybe 13 pounds give or take over Marciano...and he was KO'd in round one by Savon.

Tua was a naturally thick man for sure, but not vastly bigger than Marciano. I believe some of his early professional weights were close to 205. Then he went to 220, to 240+. His best weight could have been around 218.

Tua looked in very good shape at 220 pounds while marciano was at his best 187 pounds. Tua had wider thorax, thicker legs, he could carry much more weight than rocky and you know that it is truth.
Tua weighed 201 when he was 19 and marciano in his late 20s was 185.tyson and frazier fought both also in the 201 pounds limit in the amateurs at 18 and 19 and they were bigger than marciano too .this man clearly matured late physically like lennox lewis, tua looked a robust child at 19.
Btw he was not "counted out" by savon
