A 22 year old is willing to face Trout, but the not the so called 'P4P' King?

It amazes me how Floyd Mayweather is given the ability to face fighters like Guerrero or Alexander over Trout and Canelo. Alvarez, a fighter who is 22 years old and has everything going for him, has signed on the dotted line to fight Trout yet he was never in contention to fight Floyd Mayweather. Why?

Please don't mention that weight-class bull****. At the end of the day, if you proclaim to be the 'Pound for pound king, best in the world' ****, then you've gotta be willing to face people in others divisions. To me it just shows the fear (in my opinion) that they have at this point in trying to keep that 0 intact.

Both Trout and Canelo shouldn't be facing either other, rather each one of them facing Mayweather, and now we'll end up with one of them instead. It's really not justified and it's disgusting that we have to swallow what we're given on our plates without choice.

Gotta love it. Canelo vs Trout shouldn't happen because Mayweather should fight them both.

Dude Trout is the number #2 contender and Canelo is the #1, are you crazy!!!! Of course there supposed to be fighting each other!! Canelo has been fighting people not in his weight class for his last few fights, its about time he fought somebody in his division. That was a lame post

So basically every good fight from 140 to 160 shouldn't happen because Mayweather needs to fight all of them.

The logic on some boxing "fans" is hilarious.

That's not the point if they're number one or two. Fact is, both were lucrative risky fights for Mayweather. Sure, Canelo-Trout is an excellent fight, but it eliminates one of the two fights most people would have wanted to see Mayweather in.

Do you understand what P4P means? It has nothing to do with being willing to face people in other weight classes idiot!

Mayweather is THE most popular boxing so he can pick and chose his opponents. Mayweather is the ONLY fighter that gets shitted on for fighting other champions in his own weight class! Alexander - IBF, Guerrero WBC - interim.

People like you have been following boxing for 5 mins and just want to jump on the "I hate Mayweather bandwagon" yet if your hero (Khan) had ever got the fight he so badly wanted and won you would be proclaiming that Khan is one of the best ever!

Who has Trout actually beaten for you to rank him so highly, the fact is he (Trout), Canelo, Guerrero & Alexander all have relatively weak resumes.....which is OK as time goes on they will improve. The only difference with Trout and Canelo is they are much more naturally bigger (& stronger) than Floyd.

You need to go do some reading before you start **** threads.

    I did. You are a ****ing moron.

Your logic is basically what is destroying boxing. The best shouldn't fight the best but rather fight bums until getting a huge pay day.

I should have made myself clearer. I know it isn't, what I meant was if he's the best in the world, he should face the two lucrative guys that people have been asking for.

Mayweather is the most popular boxer so he can pick his opponents? Is that really your justification for him fighting Guerrero or Alexander? Please, if anyone's the idiot here, then it's you for that comment. 5 minutes? I know plenty. The fact that you've got to resort to personal insults on my knowledge tells me a lot. No, I would not. Even if Khan faced him, it would still be be farcical. Trout and Canelo are more of a threat as opposed to Guerrero or Alexander.

How does that logic destroy boxing if you believe that two people in a division should face the best fighter in the world?

Your comments are of no surprise anyway. After all, I've read your nonsensical crap for a long time and it didn't take you long to pounce onto the thread.

So if Mayweather fought Canelo and Trout was on the undercard you'd have problem with Trout taking on a tough opponent because he should fight Mayweather too?
