Hernandez was 32 yrs old with one loss to Hoya at lightweight.

To put into perspective Mayweather is 35 turning 36 right now.

Yeah but fighters burn out at different ages, Floyd is still sharp at 35, but yeah he not the same as 3 or 4 years ago, he is deffo more beatable now as most fighters are as they get older.

 we aren't talking fantasy here fool. and even IF he beats Trout, he's still wouldn't have accomplished more than a 22 yr old Floyd.

Maybe not more but better than any single win at 22 than Floyd.

Anyway as i said its only the start because he got balls so in the future will fight anyone..

Nice...Even though Chicanito was past his best he probably could have defended for a couple more years against decent opposition had he not run into FMJ.

Genaro was a two time champion with a dozen or so successful title defenses.

Trout may indeed surpass him when all is said and done but Genaro was still the top fighter at 130 when Floyd beat him if I'm not mistaken.

The p4p king has been there and done that. He has peaked at WW and shown he is ineffective at JMW/age so it was a logical move for Floyd to fight at WW. Too difficult to understand?
