Come on man Trout is 27years old in his prime unbeaten, just just Cotto a win Floyd fans were singing about.

This is a real deal fight...

I'm not denying that. I like Canelo to win but it's a great fight, no doubt.

You aren't thrown in the ring with Hernandez at 22yrs old in your 18th professional fight unless you are expected to be a HOF and potential ATG.

Alvarez has 41 fights at the age of 22. Him being 22 isn't as crazy when he has 41 professional fights behind it. And Trout isn't a proven commodity who established his legacy. He is just a nice up and comming fighter at this moment.

Not only is Floyd's win over Genaro better than any on Alvarez's resume, it's better than any on Adrien Broner's resume, Lucas Matthysse's resume, Amir Khan's resume, Danny Garcia's resume, all of these guys and plenty more guys who are deemed to be among the best 35 or so fighters in the world.

While the speed and the slickness gave Hernandez many problems it was Mayweathers versatility and ability to adapt to the different ways that Hernandez attacked him that sealed the deal. If Mayweather was a one dimensional out boxer he could have very well lost.

Then there is the fact that its the first time Mayweather was ever on that big stage for his first ever professional championship fight compared to Hernandez 15. He didn't fight for a vacant belt and defend it vs scrubs to build up his confidence.

Its how you view no doubt it was a great win for Floyd vs a bit aging and past his best great fighter.

I just find Saul at 22 beating a prime unbeaten 27yr old world champion too a tough tough fight for a 22yr old guy too.

Thank god. I thought you were going to refute nonito and post that Khan's win over Maidana was better than Genaro.

    No he was right.

But then Saul has not yet beaten Trout which at 22 in my view would be better than any single win than Floyd at 22.
