    Nobody is fooled by Mayweather except dumbass *****s. His resume is no way near that of an ATG.

    and LOL dont try to act like Canelo has more balls than floyd. this is his first real fight @ 154 lbs. we're just excited to see it finally happen.

    and this is pretty much an eliminator to fight Floyd anyway.

    The best should fight the best, I just see Canelo-Trout being more of an elimination of one of two possible threats to Floyd Mayweather.

    Both have titles in the same weight class, which is one weight class above Floyd's usual... One just beat the guy the other was about to face, taking his title in the process... Yet they shouldn't fight because one may possibly give Mayweather a tough fight? Is this what you're saying?

    Do you understand what lucrative means? Mayweather will probably make a very similar amount fighting any of these guys Alexander and Guerrero he probably does less PPV but he pays them less anyway. Canelo and Trout probably get a bigger purse but may well do better PPV numbers.

    Yes he is the most popular so he picks his opponents, for example Broner is popular he picks who he wants to face and they come running ala Gavin Rees!

    You clearly do not understand boxing.....it would only be farcical if Mayweather fought Khan because Mayweather would ruin him and only Khan and his fans think he is anywhere near Mayweathers level.

    Canelo & Trout may well be more of a threat, it is debatable..... but you are not asking Canelo & Trout to fight Martinez or GGG so calm down and try to be objective.

    These guys fighting each other is a good thing.

    At 21 Floyd fought Hernandez and Manfredy back to back so........

    No, that's not what I'm saying. I would have liked to have seen Mayweather face both Trout and Alvarez at one point. Now that Canelo-Trout is happening, I see it as an elimination of one of the two possible threats to Mayweather, so we'll only see one of them really face him instead of the two.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm excited the two 154 pounders are fighting, I just wanted to see Floyd face them both, which probably wouldn't happen now that they're both facing each other.

    I am THRILLED with the announcement of Canelo-Trout! I hope Mayweather faces the winner, if it is Alvarez. In my opinion, Mayweather would NEVER fight Austin Trout.
