He beat Genaro Hernandez to become the lineal champion at 130, who a victory over is much, much better than one over Trout. He then beat Angel Manfredy, who was ranked in the top 3 of the division, who would be a better win than any that Alvarez has at this point. So, that's two wins better than any Alvarez has, and one which would be clearly better than the potential Trout win... Floyd's 1998 ended with Ring Mag Fighter of the Year honors.

    You suck, dude...

If Saul beats Trout then i see that better than anyone Floyd beat by 22.

Anyway my point being this just the start GBP been building Saul up so the comp has not been top tier, but this fight shows is ready now to take on anyone around his weight.

If Saul wins and Floyd mans up and fights Saul he would beat up Floyd bad and Floyd wont have no where to run.

But Floyd being Floyd would never fight Saul at 154 anyway..

Hernadez was Mayweather's 18th professional fight to. Trout would be Canelo's 42nd professional fight.

Thats the difference in levels. There was no building Mayweather up. Dude was thrown into the fire immediately due to expected expectations.

Who cares if it wasn't his prime? He was still fighting at a top level.

Jesus christ, just because someone isn't in their ****ing prime doesn't discredit a god damn win.

This forum is filled with idiots. I swear. Mayweathers win over Genaro was huge. Genaro had never been beaten at 130. And his only loss was to DLH who made him come up.

Career high? No, but Genaro was a huge victory for Floyd at that point in his career and age.

It was a good win at 22, but i feel Saul beating Trout at 22 is better.
