A 7-1 underdog (Martin) against someone who is vastly untested. What a joke.

Yep. I saw enough of Cornish in the 12 seconds he lasted v Joshua to suggest he gives Princess Charles fits.

Anthony Joshua is not doing himself any good with these bum fights. You can only be the best by fighting the best. He is fighting bums. When he faces a real test, this will cause him to be more likely to lose.

He's better than what he showed against glaz but I don't know if its enough for AJ. I'm rooting for him though.

The bookers have no concept of boxing, I might just lay a big one on Martin and make out like a bandit.

If Charles Martin, a world champion comes in as a 7-1 underdog against a mostly unproven talent like Joshua then yes it is ridiculous but this whole scenario is a bit daft anyway.

i seen martin fight twice live, including on the klitschko jennings undercard... joshua is probably a 60/40 favourite..but not 7/1...martin is tough, has VERY heavy hands, southpaw, and VERY patient fighter...not an easy fight for anyone...this is no mismatch, but a good fight...people will be pleasantly surprised. both are untested...i dont rate dillian whyte...he boxes like a wild caveman... the fight was more hyped because of the amateur rivalry.both joshua and martin really faced no one of note

Martin has took the fight to cash out. I think Whyte would beat Martin and Joshua is going to smash him early.

Y'all act like AJ is some proven talent. The guy is slower than grandma's molasses, easy to hit and has already shown some glass.
He will be lucky to get past Martin.

I think people are basing Martin's level off of the fact that he won his 'world' title by default against a hugely overhyped Glazkov and struggled at points with Love.

I remember seeing him in a fight and thinking he could be decent, then watched some more of him, he is pretty dog ****

OP supports black American fighter, what a surprise

    Martin is utter ****

Martins legit best win was against Zumbano Love, a guy he struggled with for 10 rounds. AJ knocked him out inside 2, that's why AJ is the big favourite.

9/2 (4.5/1) on Martin, which means no sane man will take that small $ for that big under dog :think

It will be in the UK
Joshua is a fast starting power puncher
Martin is slow paced calm boxer.

So its logical that Martin will get caught with the hardest punch of his life, early & it will happen numerous times until he crumbles, because Joshua fights like that.

Four possible outcomes leading to Anthony Joshua KO Win:

    #1 Full Count KO
    #2 Acceptable Stoppage
    #3 Arguable Stoppage
    #4 British Stoppage

Betting on Martin is not reasonable even he is a 20 to 1 underdog (now 4.5 to 1)
