Wasn't scoring it myself, but it seemed pretty damn even, they were trading rounds back and forth.. the only rounds that Miranda won outright were 3 and 9.. the rest were close.. but Roman stole some in the last 20 seconds.

I feel pretty much the same way, which is why I don't understand Rafael's complaint about the scorecards. I thought they were pretty good scorecards.

Karmazin really stepped it up in the later rounds. Good combo's but complete **** footwork.

Overall a good fight to start off the year !
I think he's got a good shot at Sylvester

Yup that was a shocker and great end to a boring night but disapointing overall and it proved to me that although Karmazin won he can't hang with the top guys in this weak middleweight division so he should probabaly pack it in. There is no way Miranda shoulda been able to hit him so often with that right...you think he'd get the picture and start circling right and potshotting..

Karmazin's conditioning isnt there. I was reading an interview on another website, he said he does the majority of his training himself in russia, and just comes to the US the last few weeks for sparring and to work with a coach. He also doesnt have a set trainer, not since his old one died last year

Still, he has incredible heart. I think with a proper camp and coach, he still has something left

The criminal judges had Karmazin losing the fight. However, his knockout made the judges moot!
