Hopkins dominated such Hall of Famers like Robert "The Legend" Allen 3 times, Keith "Mr. Pay Per View" Holmes, and Morrade "The Icon" Hakkar...of ****, I almost forgot Howard "The Legend" Eastman, or perhaps, William "Canastota" Joppy. :rofl :rofl :rofl Hopkins is without a doubt, even more overrated than his Transvestite Massa at GBP.

Hopkins. At their best I don't believe Toney was at all any better on the inside, I see no clear advantage for either man there, and Hopkins was vastly superior outside and IMO would also get the better of Toney at mid-range. Toney struggled with skilled out-boxers with excellent footwork, faster hands than him, and was never much of a top level ring general himself, Hopkins fits the bill to beat him. Prime Hopkins was too versatile for Toney to beat. Each man comes in at their best, and Hopkins wins about 8-4, a good, tactical fight, but Hopkins proving better in too many areas to overcome. Most likely a competitive 8-4 type decision.

Toney stays in the pocket & counters him at will, winning by late ko or near shutout.

RJJ struggled with one ****ing guy in his whole career, RJJ, the father of Bernard Hopkins. I guarantee you, that at HW, Toney will sodomize Hopkins inside those ropes. If Hops is so ****ing bad, lets see him eat some mo' grits, and add a few pounds, and take a title at Cruiser and HW like Toney. I didnt think so either, but thanks for playing. :good

    Hopkins by clear UD.

    Toney is smoke and mirrors.

 Hell yeah. If Toney was not a ring general he would of got his ass handed to him at cruiser and above. But that never happened. Fat and all. JT is the ****ing definition of ring general.

Toney by TKO via mercy stoppage. Hopkins is all clinching like a ***** and crying to the referee.

Right, Toney's success at cruiser and heavy matters in this fight because all of those slow straight-forward fighters he fought at the weight are so similar to Hopkins.

Watch Toney's fights with Reggie Johnson, a past his best Mike McCallum, and Montel Griffin to see how Toney would fare, those guys are at least similar to Hopkins.

Hopkins would have nightmares facing Toney.

    1. Toney is even a better counterpuncher than Hops is.
    2. Toney is a nightmare inside, or during the clinch, which is 79% of Hoppy's game plan.
    3. Toney is sneakier, and craftier than Hopkins, and has forgotten more old timer tricks than Hops knows now.

    4. Toney cannot be intimidated and intimidation is another HUGE part of Hoppy's gameplan.

    5. Power, and chin. Toney had taken shots from Holyfield, Rahman, and SAM PETER that would have made Bernard Hopkins **** himself in the ring. Hops would get manhandled by Rahman, for example, and Toney manhandled Rahman.

    Pay attention now

Fighters Toney fought that were similar to Hopkins: Mike McCallum, Reggie Johnson, Montell Griffin.

Results: Arguably lost twice to a faded and naturally smaller man in McCallum getting a draw and an MD. Gets dropped and only manages a split-decision over Johnson. Loses two close fights to Griffin.

Toney did not manhandle Rahman either time, and a slow as hell basic heavyweight like Rahman is nothing even remotely close to Hopkins.

Toney, on best form, arguably lost to an old McCallum, then in the rematch did no better. In his prime he struggled badly with Johnson and Griffin. Hopkins went down against Mercado while in Ecuador and before he reached his prime, he then outclassed and easily stopped Mercado a year later. Mercado also fought nothing like Toney. Johnson, McCallum, and Griffin are the closest styles Toney fought that were similar to Hopkins, and they gave him more problems than anyone else (outside of Jones who barely lost a second against prime Toney where as he actually lost 2 or 3 rounds against Hopkins a year earlier).

Prime Toney was on another level. His skills were unheard of.

.....is one of the most anticipated fights that can be made in the history of boxing IMO. Not just for the fight, but all of the trash talking leading up to the fight. Imagine a 24/7? Toney doing his trash talking and Hopkins giving those 20 minute answers.
