Really close 1 to call for me but think Murrays in the right place to beat him if it happened.

 

Murray is a tidy boxer but he doesn't have that the same kind of ability Frampton has hurt his opponent. I think Frampton is too strong for Murray and would knock him out. I think Joe will be better than his brother though.

 

There are two ways of confirming that Frampton is a special talent....

1. Watch him box.
2. Listen to the Brits claim him (you can be sure he's headed for great things when the Brits claim him as one of their own).

maybe he classes himself as british as he wants the british title it's the irish that try and claim british fighters..not the other way round.

atsch I'm afraid your wrong there pal, it's yet another example of an Irish fighter being claimed by Britain. Frampton was born in Ireland, lives in Ireland, fought for Ireland as an amateur and is managed by an Irishman, Barry McGuigan, who incidentally the Brits also like to claim.

As for the British title... It's probably the most prestigous domestic title out there, he's eligible to fight for it and he's damn right to have a go at it.

As for us claiming British fighters... I'm not sure who your referring to?

 

i thought this was a interesting fact frampton has had more fights in england than in ireland

out of curiosity for the irish members do think he should headline the title fights in ireland like against reid or fight international opposition in england on the undercard of a british title fight

 

clearly the fight cards in belfast - people in belfast love their boxing. If there was a show every friday night it would be full and with Framptons growing rep, his connection with Mcguigan and being well known in amateur circles here.

he doesnt have to headline against the likes of Reid, voronin was over here before.

Its that McGuigan doesnt have a big stable and setanta ireland only has finite resources so he has to fight in england in front of one man and a dog and not get shown by sky:twisted:

 

get as much publicity and decent fights as possible. In short, he should fight more in Britain for the time being.
