Tommy Hearns was one of the bravest and most brilliant fighters of one of the best eras of boxing in history.

He outboxed a peak Sugar Ray Leonard, only to get stopped with a stupendous combination late on.

He went up to middleweight and challenged one of the greatest mw champions ever, and was one of the only people ever to noticeably hurt Marvin Hagler with a punch, but was outgunned by the natural 160lbs-er after a wild, amazing fight.

Like Hagler, the rest of the guys you named were naturally higher weight fighters than Hearns, and Tommy still managed to beat Roldan (KO4), Andries (TKO10) and Kinchen (MD12) anyway.

PS: Apologies to all those who wanted to discuss this issue properly, but whenever stinking trolls like Headbanger appear (guys who don't have the knowledge to make threads but are only here to troll) this is invariably what happens.

I think the whole forum is getting bored of the clashes between myself and Headbanger, so I think we should finally settle matters over who is the superior poster, and then move on.

I say we both slap out the best 3 boxing threads we have each ever produced on this boxing forum, and so see who contributes more to this forum in terms of boxing knowledge, threads of interest, and means of expression.

Then we will see who is the superior boxing poster, and who is the stinking little internet troll.

The challenge has now officially been laid down. I am ready whenever Headbanger is, and every time he tries to ruin one of my threads by typing out a questionnaire and begging me to fill it out then trolling like a crazed maniac, I will re-issue the challenge of who is the superior poster and who is the stinking internet troll.

I assume there will be a brief period of cutting and pasting for me, until people see he cannot meet my challenge without losing spectacularly and being exposed for what he is.
