It was a bad ending, mainly because its robbing Ward of credit with some people who should really just face reality. If that cut/swelling never happened we would have seen a 12 round UD with Ward winning pretty much every round bar a couple.

So you think Dirrell should have won the fight?

I had it a draw but for the point deduction. 114-113 Froch. I remember that scorecard.

As I said, both fights sucked because they were marred by bad tactics and dirty fighting. Dirrell and Ward initiated the bad tactics -- Dirrell with his running and spoiling and Ward with his headbutting and clinching. They started it, they get the blame.

Froch was dirty as sh*t in that fight. No question about it and that's why -- along with Dirrell's antics -- like this fight tonight, the bout sucked.

Ward was better tonight. But he and the ref cheated Ward, Kessler, and the fans of a proper match and ending tonight. Sad.

uh-huh, lets give a big round of applause for the two meaningful punches kessler landed despite losing that round as well, woopty doo!!

or maybe your definiton of "tiring" differs from what I and other normal people percieve as tiring. which would explain alot as your the only person that see's this.

its a rough sport buddy, its not exactly tea and crumpets. its a sport that invloves physical contact where head butting is prone to happening when two people with no protective head-gear get close with eachother.

well I think you can be a bit frustrated when you feel your fighter got burned, its only human. Those others don't feel that way, but if you honestly do feel that way, then it is a natural reaction.

No but it was the noise you were making on that fight. The angle you took on what you were critical of. I'm sensing a pattern. I scored the Froch vs Dirrel fight a draw and I felt generous to Froch. I am getting the feeling that I score harshly for the fighter I root for. I score the Haye fight a draw, and gave Kessler 1 round of this fight. Honestly, I have an expectation for the fighter I want. I'm not biased toward a fighter in my judging, that's for sure. Others have let me know.

Fair enough, the rest about the cheap is just wrong.

I didn't see what the problem was. Yea Ward used his head, but It wasn't on purpose, and the ref let them fight. If he didn't let them fight then Kessler fans would whine about how he was breaking them off to soon. Kessler acted like a whiny ***** after the fight and I lost a lot of respect for him. Massive props to Ward, I thought he would win, but I didn't think he would pitch a shut out. Off my scorecards in the past Ward has won about 33 straight rounds are so, I'll have to look back at them.

Fair enough. You may be right. I'm a pretty good scorer, so I have been told, but I'm a human being like everyone else.

On the other hand, we had the Froch-Dirrell fight within 1 point of each other. So I don't feel that my scoring is so wild. Yes, you feel like you gave Froch some rounds, I understand. But I don't remember who I gave what rounds to or where I was leaning.

    Peace. :good

I have to agree with the those who say the head butts were not intentional. Every time Ward went low, he would seek to tie MK up on the inside. He did this throughout the entire fight. Kessler to his credit always stood his ground with the exception of a few times. But, by doing so, he allowed Ward's forward and upward momentum to cause the clash of heads. It's easily understandable why someone would think it's intentional, but I can't see any reason to do so myself other than conjecture. Kessler also held Ward arms plenty of times. The ref only started allowing them to try and fight out of it after it was clear there would be a lot of meetings in the middle. At one point he even went over to Kessler's corner to explain to him that he could keep fighting(when they came together) even though he was being told to let go. I though he did a unremarkable job. I picked Kessler to win the fight. I'm kind of objective in all this, for whatever that is worth.
