A caller on a sports radio show last night said Clarissa Shields would destroy prime Anne Wolfe.

    The host was talking about the best female boxers and a caller called up saying Claressa Shields would destroy Anne Wolfe in her prime. The host asked him what he thought about Shields vs Layla and the caller said it's a toss up, but he knows for sure that Shields would give Wolfe a thorough boxing lesson. The host said he doesn't agree with that at all because Wolfe is a completely different animal and they don't make them like that anymore and said he thinks Shields would end up getting iced.

    How do you see it?

    Well as an expert on the not so long or that rich history of womens boxing I’d have to go against the expert opinion of this so called caller and say Katie Taylor storms into the ring and slaps them both and gets a UD.

    A sports radio show arguing about who were the best female boxers in history?

    Around these parts, if you aren't talking NFL, MLB, March Madness or the NBA ... you'd better be talking about hockey. Or people will call in demanding why you don't talk about hockey more than you do.

    The host was talking about Muhammad Ali and Floyd Mayweather. He stated that loved watching Ali's daughter box and that is how the conversation came about.
