A Canelo victory is not completely off the cards against Golovkin...

Yes Golovkin is much better than him but his style and attributes could make it slightly awkward for Golovkin and there's a good chance it could go the distance.

Golovkin will have to really beat him up to be sure of a victory.

I still favour Golovkin by knock out but you can't write Canelo off.

Golovkin's resume is mostly pretend and he's not that hard to hit. Canelo would at least be competitive against him.

Canelo only fights a fraction of the round, has had a few gifts, Golovkin would KO anybody he has fought.

I think the body work Golovkin would do would put Canelo in a lot of pain. Canelo's stamina issues would be an issue against Golovkin who would make him work.

If Golovkin got off with the type of shots Cotto was, which he would as well, Canelo certainly wouldn't be able to shake them off.

Let's hope it happens, all we need now is for Canelo to stop being a little ***** and we should have a great fight on our hands.

    Canelo simply cannot beat GGG.

He can't outbox him because GGG has more skills.

He can't outslug him because GGG has more power.

He can't pressure him because GGG has too much power and Canelo doesn't have any stamina.

There is no way he can beat GGG.

yes it is off the cards lol. golovkin does everything better than canelo, he also hits harder. almost 30 times harder as a matter of fact. gigi with 16 oz gloves hits like kovalev with 8 oz gloves and kovalev hits like a heavyweight. canelo would NOT go the distance, neither would ward

Agreed that GGG's defense is better thsn he has had to show. Butthe idea that he will walk thru Canelo's shots like raindrops is a lil over the top. I think he beats Canelo up, but Canelo is more skilled than anyone he has faced thus far and he can punch a bit as well. Will be GGG's biggest test. He'll win definitively, in all probability, but he'll have to work harder than in the past.

Unless GGG's arms fall off midfight, then yes. Yes it is.
