pac's spotted margarito 17 pounds for this fight. At this point, there's no sense in haggling over a catchweight.

Manny's going to come in at under 149. Mayweather will probably come in at 155 to 160, depending on if he lets HBO take his official weight on fight night.

I hope this fight doesn't get sanctioned by the WBC. Floyd knows its money out of his pocket. Pac doesn't give a flying **** either way.

I think if there IS a catchweight as to what Team Pacuiao has been harping, it will probably be 147 at Roach's insistence. Mayweather will just probably come in at whatever weight he wants because he can afford the penalty and he can always point at the margarito fight as to why he can come in at whatever weight he wants to.

Now the only thing left to haggle is a blood test from 7 days to probably 3 days of the fight. 3 days is reasonable. on weigh in and on the day of the fight? that is beyond ridiculous.

    any comments or thoughts?

mayweather will only fight at 154lbs for pacs belt.

but roach will also say 10million for every pound over.

mayweather will want it @154 while pac @147.

yeah. as a compromise, there could be a catchweight for this fight if it ever happens at all.

147 is the welter limit and not a catchweight.

and it was oscar's idea to fight @147 since pac was still a lightweight (135) at that time. oscar had all the money and he was definitely calling the shots for that fight.

even though 147 is a legit weight...147 was considered a legitimate catchweight by both fighters..
