Holyfield lost you ****ing tool, regardless of whether you think he was robbed. Haye made Valuev hit fresh air all night. I love the way you completely ignore the fact Holyfield LOST to Valuev but claim he beat him better than Haye did.

Mac chased the fight with Nelson for ages but Johnny decided not to defend against him. Not really Enzo's fault is it?

You don't want to because you can't.

When 2 of your 3 title wins are over Enzo Maccarnelli and Nicolai Valuev you don't a leg to stand on, especially to call yourself the man. The Mormeck victory was his best but Haye almost lost and Mormeck is a rather average champion with poor stanima.

How did he almost lose against Mormeck? Did he tell the ref he'd ****ed him mum just as the ref counted 9 with Mormeck still wobbling and the ref thought about disqualifying him? Seriously, Valuev and Macca may not have been great champions but they were clearly top 5 in their respective divisions. How many of the other 'contenders' at heavy can claim a win like that?

The belt doesn't matter, other than giving him some leverage in negotiations with the Klits further down the line. Haye gets way too much criticism, he's only had 23 fights and has achieved a lot in that time (undisputed champ in one weight division, belt holder in another). He is also likely to have a crack at the main man/men in the division much quicker than the last cruiserweight champion to win a heavyweight world title; Holyfield had 6 fights at heavy prior to taking on Douglas. If Haye was American the attitude towards him on this forum would be very, very different.

I've always maintained that Haye's cruiser resume actually is subpar.

No Huck, no Ofalabi, no Cunningham, no Erdei, no Flores. What kind of a "unified" CW champ was he anyway?

And that Thompson dude he lost to is somewhere between a journeyman and a gatekeeper.

I'm guessing this post is either a joke or you only started following boxing last year?

He would KO all those names mentioned..at the time of his reign only Cunningham was recognised(IBF champ) but he cant sell tickets for toffee!

He was beaten by Thompson in what his 11th fight?(without looking at boxrec)..the fact hes won 23 with 21 by ko says alot about the risks he takes.
