    Bumped to refresh the memory of some Laura groupies who are accusing Vanes of bitching out of the rematch, in case you forgot Vanes suffered a nasty cut due to an intentional headbutt from Erisfouly that ended the match. WBC wants to force Vanes to take the rematch when he's still unprepared and unable to spar, so screw them. Vanes shouldn't be getting flak for this rematch not happening, We Be Crooks and Laura should.

    Lara fought a little dirty, but nothing too horrible at all.

    Recent examples of the winner fighting far dirtier:
    Mares vs. Agbeko I
    Mares vs. Moreno
    Mares vs. Darchinyan

    lol @ the music.

    and I think the two things that don't sit well with me are the sleeper hold and the punch to the goodies.

    i've seen diritier fights though for sure.

    I was actually there. First fight I ever attended in Vegas and it was this one :(

    Im pretty sure Martirosyan could have carried on, but he clearly thought he was up on the cards at the time, and Lara was coming on strong.

    :lol: Yes, it's very deceptive too. You almost wouldn't notice it until Lara's left hand smashes into Vanes' face over and over. Something tells me he's gonna get away with that one in the rematch too. What's up with that?

    a left to the noggin is a foul and vanes and all his fans have every right to be pissed.

    lara shouldve been disqualified as vanes was clearly outworking him in every category and intentionally fouled him to get out of a fight he was clearly losing.
