Pointing out that Usyk's opponents were as big or bigger than Liston's is trolling? Those are just facts.

No, because you purposely ignored the track i was on and the obvious point i was making and tried to incite/niggle/irritate/TROLL. It's there for all to see because you aren't near as cunning as you seem to think apparently.....or alternately we as a forum just ain't as stupid as you think.

It's all good tho as this seems to be who you are in Classic nowadays, virtually every single time out. It's expected, it's your level.

Shame on me for even acknowledging you.

Apparently you are trying to avoid the point. That's ok, it's what I have come to expect from you.

And as the thread progresses, I would like to say up front that it was worth doing to showcase that both men have excellent resumes and were true champs, regardless of which side you fall.

I fall on Usyk's side, probably more guys in the classic's section will fall on Liston's, but they are both greats, regardless.

Liston is my top 5, granted im not extremely educated so I cant really make a statement. Anyways modern boxing is very lame so I care not for Usyk.

All of the "cruisers" that Usyk beat would be heavies (and then some) in Liston's day.

Liston resume is definitely better than Usyk's if you're looking at how they're done in their respective HW eras, but it's not by extremely much.

Yeah, Usyks Cruiser opponents were likely bigger than Liston's Heavyweight opponents. With day before weigh ins, Usyks Cruiser opponents may have weighed as much as 210-215 on fight night. Liston's opponents were same day weigh ins. Some of Liston's opponents could have made light heavy with day before weigh ins. Consider that RJJ was 180-185 in the ring at light heavy. With same day weigh ins, RJJ probably would have fought at Heavyweight in the 1950s and 60s.
