    Ive been watching some old De La Hoya fights, and the one thing that sticks out is not Oscar's nice jab, left hook, iron chin, or exciting style. Rather, I'm captivated by George Foreman's obsession with De La Hoya's shoulders.

    "Just look at those shoulders"
    "Trinidad is taking his time because he sees those big shoulders of De La Hoya"
    "A guy sees those massive shoulders of Oscar and his whole gameplan changes"

    I think at one point merchant got sick of hearing Foreman mention Oscar's shoulders in every fight that when foreman mentions their size in the Trinidad fight, He responds with "So what?"

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Big George used to love to tell us how "the most important man in the ring other than the fighters is the referee"

    He loved to say how a referee was "too small" to ref a fight :rofl:patsch

    He said this all the time.

    Hahah. To be fair, Oscar does have some pretty serious shoulders.

    It just goes to show that even if someone is/has been a professional in a sport it doesn't mean that they know the first thing about the human body. ESPECIALLY in a sport like boxing. The body works as a whole unit, focusing on someones calf muscles or shoulders is idiotic.

    Speaking of De La Hoya's shoulders they looked more prominent (bulging at the front and flat at the back) because he neglected performing any pulling resistance training motions in training, all he did was pushups. That contributed to his stiffness, throwing himself off balance when he punched and his difficulty bringing his hands back when he punches. Just a simple thing like that can make a huge difference, he had terrible posture because of it.

    Before Lewis got KTFO by Rahman, George was saying

    "Lennox Lewis is a BIG CAT!"
