that little ***** pacquiao would barely be a contender in the 80's. no catchweight bull**** to hide behind, less titles so he could not avoid certain styles. hearns would blast pacquiao back to manila with the first right cross. and we know stupid southpaws like manny take the full brunt of right hands, that's why mayweather will pop that little ***** with lead rights all night long, and manny is way too damn dumb to figure out how to get away from them. after all, juan manuel marquez has whipped manny over 36 rounds and manny still can't figure him out.

Not always true, considering Hopkins is a far superior counter puncher than Calzaghe and we saw how that turned out. Hopkins and Toney, I consider better counterpunchers than Roy Jones. Roy outsped them.

The bottom line is. PAC has trouble with boxers which is why he has so much trouble with Marquez. There is a reason why he hasn't faught guys like Zahir Raheem, Nate Campbell, etc they'd give him fits.

Not any counter puncher, kobra like counter puncher... Of course, those Floyd whipping right hands make you think twice b4 stepping in with an attack but you don't have to be a patient cat or mongoose to catch him. Oscar said timing would kill speed but he didn't time him with a jab. Ricky's fast legs and pressure had Floyd unconfortable early. And Shane's speed and power with a one punch didn't work for more than two rounds, he faded like Zab. I think that Manny's fast footwork, power, stamina and relentless pressure with volume plus accuracy puts any master counter puncher in danger of getting caught.

Maybe that's true but a counter puncher doesn't always win. Maybe most of the time and even then, more attributes than that come into play.
