A couple of Japanese prospects who recently made their debuts

A few weeks ago a couple of talented Japanese youngsters made their debuts on an Ohashi show. Both are tipped for big things.

Keisuke Matsumoto
Keisuke Matsumoto has long been viewed as a top fighter in the making, and was often featured on "Mirai Monsters" (Future Monsters). His father is 3-time world title challenger Koji Matsumoto, who is also one of the top trainers in Japan, working at the Ohashi Gym, and his grandfather was also a fighter way back when. Matsumoto won 5 Under 15 titles and debuted against Hironori Miyake, who had never been stopped.

Ryutaro Nakagaki
Ryutaro Nakagaki debuted against Shohei Horii, after winning 8 amateur titles. He is regarded as a fantastic technical boxer, but there was worries when he turned professional than he wouldn't have the power needed to be moved as quickly as he wanted. He's spoke about trying to match Inoue's fast rising through the ranks and is being trained by Akira Yaegashi (among others) at the Ohashi gym.
