I strongly believe that he could blow through some of the top guys in the division. Here are a couple of examples of his power.... He and Krzysztof Wlodarczyk fought Imamu Mayfield. 1st, Nwodo destroyed him in one round. Then he fights Krzysztof and gives him hell for twelve rounds with many observers feeling he deserved the win. Povetkin is a fighter that I'm really a fan of and it took him 3 rounds to stop Imamu. BJ Flores is fighter know for his good boxing skills and good power, yet Frank Walker battles with him for 8 rounds losing a UD and a couple of fights before that he got crushed in one round by Nwodo. Just like I said before this fight, I feel the same way when I said that he is the hardest puncher I could fight in the division. When he got stopped before by Richel 5 or so years ago it was on cuts and he was not knocked out. I think that if he fought Bell he would stop him very early based on the type of punches Bell gets hit with. Of course it all depends on if there are any risidual affects from our fight. Hate to boast but I am a master counter puncher, with the type of power that can change your lifestyle. Some people continue to lable me only as a crude power puncher.:-( Also I noticed how alot of people on here are making David Haye out to be god in the ring. Make no mistake, I really like him and think he's good for boxing and very talented, but there are certain flaws that I see with him, and know I can hurt him but he won't hurt me. If he stayed on the outside his chances would better, but since he likes to mix it is why I KNOW i would get him. He does have one of the best rights hands, and that might grant him an early victory over mormeck, but he better be careful cause mormeck might punish him and score a mid to late round tko.:deal I'm sure some will slam me for saying that, but its cool I can handle it.:good
Great Win Ding. You Looked A Little Sluggish But Got It Done With The Knock Out Of The Year. Do You Plan On Boxing Full Time And Going After The Titles? Congrats
Whatever you do, just don't sign a fight with Cunningham. His safety-first style is both boring and hard to fight against.
Perfect analysis, I totally agree with you (beside Nwodo's power, I never saw him before so I can't really judge him). What do you think about Marco Huck - would that be a tougher fight for you than Haye?
Ding, did you think that the ref should have stopped the fight prior to the KO? No doubt that was KO of the year, but, he was done before it happened just running from you. It seemed kind of unneccesary. Congrats.
Yes he would. Not saying that he is better than Haye, but style wise he could be a tougher fight for me. I do think I would counter the **** out of him though, because he throws alot of punches. Please dont make a reference about my fight with tokarev cause I took that for the money with less that 2 weeks to train. I would beat Vadim by KO, trust me.
Alright, I think the only champion Nwodo could possibly beat is Maccarinelli, because he's a brawler who could get outboxed if you will. Mormeck and Haye would in my opinion either blow Nwodo away or take the fight to the scorecards winning an UD. I think that you vs. Haye is the best possible cruiserweight matchup except perhaps you vs. bell or haye vs. bell, where I'd expect nothing else then fireworks fireworks and well.. fireworks :bbb I'd like to picture you as the cruiserweight version of Oliver McCall, only you are in your prime, so maybe you will bring ESB a David Haye victory ala Lewis - McCall 1? :thumbsup Hope you don't get offended by the Oliver McCall comment
If you learned how to use the internets, you'd probably quickly find that he used to be a LHW and moved up because it was impossible to make weight anymore.
oops, I left out one little thing. I got nearly zero sparring for the fight, because I KO'ed so many fighters(mostly heavys) in the dc area that they keep bitchin out when its time to work. I sparred with a southpaw amateur whos is pretty good at what he does but is opposite of what my opponent brought to the table.
Just wanted to say...AWESOME fight. I really have enjoyed your last few fights. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!
Ding, congrats on your spectacular win over Nwodo...i know personally how hard Nwodo can hit, i used to train at Mack Lewis gym in Baltimore, and i've seen Nwodo do work there...i'm only a middleweight, so i've never sparred with Nwodo, but he is physically a very strong fighter and i've seen him hurt sparring partners with his jab...i give you alot of credit Ding for even taking that fight because Nwodo is a very dangerous fighter...Good luck in your future endevours Ding!
Congratulations Mr. Wilson. That was one of the best fights I've seen in a while and the knock out, oh damn man the knock out, I think I woke up my neighbors for two blocks hollerin when you dropped that bomb hook on Nwodo. Thanks for the show and best of luck to you in the future. :bbb :bbb :bbb :bbb :good
