True if he fought Hopins @ the Millenium stadium he would have to pay the WRU a hefty chunk of the gate money , he was waiting until world boxing screamed loud enough before he fought Pavlik on PPV in the states until Hopkins beat Kelly and fakkkked that plan up :deal Joe will announce his retirement in Febuary but i have a feeling he will be back when Dawson has gained sufficient interest in his caeer in the States and becomes main stream HBO PPV fare , Then he could be possibly be tempted out of retirement providing its within a twelve month time frame , aything after that will be a non starter , Joe despite what many think is a shrewd bloke and knows he will have gone passed the point where a return would be possible if any later than late 09 imo ..

I would love this to be true, but the bottom line is that not even your average sports fan in Australia knows who these 4 men are. No one other than the 20 or so blokes who post on these forums would watch it. They would be better off showing a Katsidis fight against a credible opponent. At least that way they may get viewers to watch an Aussie fight. I hope i'm wrong though as i would love to see the doubleheader you mention.

No mate, this stuff is pretty spot on, and was inside the industry stuff when I was in Manchester. Beauty of being involved in the sport is you always see behind the hype! ;)

What ? Warren & Palle shelled out £ 10,000,000 in purses to Calzaghe & Kessler out of their own pockets just to hype both up ? . Calzaghe v Manferdo sold 35,000 tickets to morons paying up to 250 quid a throw , do you seriously belive Warren & Palle " Gave away most of the tickets to Calzaghe v Kessler to radio comp winners " come on Phi your an international judge surley you don't belive that bollocks ?
