Great post. Lots of information in here that I previously did not know, particularly with regards to weight cutting.

Baseball is another bastion of "Medical Use Exemptions", particularly for steroidal anti-inflammatorries. Athletes must love this "low T" gargbage.

A male testosterone declines around at the age of 25, your test will decline slowly and slowly as you age year by year. What makes a pro athlete go on trt is because once they hit a certain age, their test is too low compared to other athletes and it gives a major disadvantage.

The idea of trt in sports for pro athletes are to boost your test back to normal levels if you are low on test. Fighters like Overeem, Sonnen got their doctors to boost them above normal/natural levels so they have the "advantage" than the others.

More testosterone makes your performance better, increased energy, increased strength and it plays a difference when it comes to sports. It's just like how younger people will always be more athletic than older people.

People like rampage jackson, dan hendo who admitted that they used trt because their test was low is fine and do not get charged is because they did not boost their test over their natural levels. They were on low levels and their doc boost them back to normal levels. If you look at one of the rampage interviews on his use of trt he says he feels like a 25 year old which is perfectly fine.

The disadvantage of using trt is that, if you use it once, you will have to use it for the rest of your life.

    In conclusion:
-Athletes who go for trt is because their test is low and need to get them back up to normal so that they can be continue to compete with other athletes, if their test is low, they will have alot of disadvantage.
-It's perfectly fine to go on trt if you boost your test levels back up to normal.
-It's not fine if you boost your test above your normal levels.

Nothing. Your test will spike and decrease again to what is was.

None of the evidence Peterson has submitted indicates that he suffers from low testosterone or hypogonadism at all. His total testosterone (i.e. testosterone production) level was perfectly normal.

What was low was the "free" testosterone. Peterson's doctor claimed that only free testosterone is physiologically active. This is a lie. In any healthy male the vast majority of testosterone is bound - 99% or more. This is because testosterone is not water soluble (think oil and water) and needs to be "carried" in the blood by water soluble proteins. There are two types of proteins testosterone binds; albumin, and sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). Albumin bound testosterone accounts for around 50-70% of the total testosterone, and can freely dissociate in capillaries and thus is as bioavailable like unbound testosterone is. Only SHBG bound testosterone (30-45% of total testosterone) has been considered bioinactive, although recent evidence suggests that it may play some role.

Peterson doesn't have the testosterone of a 70-80 year old like he is claiming. His testosterone production is perfectly fine. The worst he has is high levels of SHBG, but even that hasn't been proven with the evidence the doctor has given so far. Given that it hasn't been submitted, I suspect that his free androgen index (the ratio for SHBG levels) is normal too.

    exactly

you can inject all the testosterone you want up your ass cheek but it doesn't give you work ethic or make you fitter unless you put in the work.

If it was one "hit" (i.e. a single administration of cream or an injection), the testosterone levels would peak but then drop to normal levels within a couple of days.

What Peterson took was implanted pellets, which continuously release doses of testosterone for months.
