I don't rate Tommy Morrison highly h2h, he had a perfect game plan for Foreman and he had a killer left hook, but dancing around Old George isn't enough for me to rate him that highly.

Holyfield is my number 4 HW and would defeat almost anyone in my minds eye.

Old George can end any fight but h's gonna have to ship a lot to do it. For instance Haye should be a shutout winner and there's no way I favour him over Wlad, but he is one punch anyway from victory at any point. Wlad will have to jab and move cos he sure ain't tying him up.

Tommy would have blasted all this era's Sam Peters , Haye's and John Mormecks into 2000 ad.

Nobody post Lewis looked anywhere as dangerous as he did.

You pointed out exactly why i'd take Foreman II to batter Wlad.

Moving and punching for 3mins a round would leave Wlad gassed out before the 5th round.
And the nervous energy he'd be burning just at the thought of getting touched by Foreman would go no good for his stamina either.

Then you have the indisputable evidence that Wlad is engaged in clinches during the majority of rounds. Thats not where you want to be against George. Especially not with a glass chin.

Totally disagree with your rating of Tommy.

If Wlad gasses, you're right, if not he Should take it on points by a wide margin.

    Terrible post

Foreman did have a weak path to Holyfield

    Overrated Adilson Rodriguez.
    Grossly overweight cruiserweight Dwight
    Shot ****ey
    Partied out Cooper
An assortment of Cruiserweight club fighters.

He didn't ruin Cooper. Cooper put up minimal resistance. Cooper was in a place, after he left Joe Frazier, where he was coked out and not training properly. Foreman caught him at the perfect time. Once Cooper got his act together, somewhat, in 1990-1992 he contributed to some great heavyweight wars.

Foreman fought "0" legitimate top 10 guys in his comeback before getting the shot at Holyfield. Rodriguez may have been "officially" rated, but he was obviously cherry picked because he was very mediocre.

What did they have in common? Mercer and McCall had very good chins. Bruno and Ruddock had plenty of power but could be stopped. Smith was pretty much a punching bag except for when he fought Bruno, Witherspoon (rematch), and even Ruddock. Tucker was tall and could take a decent punch. Dokes was quick but could be stopped. Bowe was a complete package and would be favored.

Foreman wouldn't have trouble with the over-rated Bruno.

Away. Literally turned his back on Foreman. He fought Foreman the best way that he could.
