Is there one ?If either man ,in their very prime ,could fight in every decade ,is there one where they don't get the lineal belt ?

It would probably be a bare knuckle era.

Maybe during Louis' reign, or in the bareknuckle era. Even then I think Foreman would have great success in bareknuckle

Maybe the 90s if it was when Lewis was champ. I think he beats both of those guys

You think McCall and Rahman are better punchers than Foreman?

He couldn't get by Frazier, much less those two

No but I think Tua was. Lewis was green in the McCall fight (pre Steward) and undertrained for Rahman, with him being in Ocean's 11

Why couldn't he get by Fraizer. He was a one punch fighter with a half decent chin, much like a great Ruddock or Morrison, he was a much slower starter than those two, Lewis wins before 7

The forum Tuanator strikes again, fear him and his inability to beat Chris Byrd

Lewis kept Tua at range, that wouldnt work against Foreman, who's built very similarly to Lewis and is the superior pressure fighter

That's a fair point but Lewis was the best in ring general I ever saw, (including Mayweather and Ali) he could completely dominate his opponent and move them how he wanted, Foreman was a pretty easy guy to fool in his early career, and Lewis hit a lot harder than Ali, if he could keep him at bay for 7/8 rounds then Foreman Tires and Lewis should hunt for a KO (I'm not stupid I swear, I know full well that Foreman could just land one on Lewis and it's over but so could Vitali, Morrison and Tua)

Good question, I'd say yes they'd have a shot at being champion in any era but it wouldn't be easy, Yes they were the kings in there era. But there are many other kings throughout boxing history that would present these guys with some big big problems from any era, besides maybe Tyson's, with the Brebicks, Smiths, of the world.

going back far enough, 1900 and back, where the rules were noticeably different and ali foremans boxing not evolved for them.

That's probably an era that could be difficult for em both tbh .Once we get into gloves ,Sullivan onward ,then I'm struggling to see a single decade .

I'm concerned that you actually believe that a prime Ali or Foreman couldnt beat a 2015 Wlad

You mean u actually see Ali or George beating the likes of Valuev !!
    I'm thinking MISMATCH !
A bloodied Ali staggering around ..A dazed Foreman peering through closed eyes as Valuev pumps his fists in the air!!
