    Good post. I had it a bit closer, but there's no doubt that Chavez needed a KO or a 'Don King fighter stoppage' to win going into the 12th. I've mentioned this before, but this was one of the fights were i've changed allegiance at the midway point. Taylor was fighting so well, and so excitingly, that I could help wanting him to win as the fight entered the final quarter.

    Yeah, watched it again and the signs were as early as round 8. He wasn't losing the fight in the scorecards though.

    It's the age old saying Taylor was winning the battle but losing the war. He was certainly ahead on points but Chavez was doing far more damage with his single punches overall.

    Usually we are quite like minded but I have to say JCC was winning the rounds on damage IMO had it been 15 rounds…
