Foreman was a great champion for his age, Moorer was OK he fought Evander who apparently had major heart probelms during the fight and was floored by a old Foreman and he says Wladimir was the best fighter he fought..Schulz would get a C on his 90s report card.

No he did not beat him comfortably maybe you should watch the fight again! It was a very close fight! At the end Moorer got a SD although many thought Schulz could have won the fight. A guy like Moorer being Champion... could not be in this era.
And a bad boxer like Schulz (he really was bad) being almost World Champion three times! against Foreman, Moorer and Botha.
You sound like a butthurt american who thinks every heavyweight era is bad when there is no american heavyweight.
I dont say that this era is better than the 90es... but both eras are clearly not far away from each other.
So now you can go on and say "now this era is ****" "the 90es nad 80es were much better" "the klitschkos are bad and boring". All I hear is :|:|:|

If I could be bothered I'd get footage of the Johnson/Jeffries, which may have been worst of the lot.

The point of these clips was to show the quantity of holding, not to show the other differences in boxing.

 

Check on google, there are plenty of people that have said the same. I never said it was a universal opinion, but there are many people who confuse the importance and prestige of the fight with it being moderately entertaining.

There are many people who genuinely think that fight was a great fight. Fair enough. I'm not one of them, and I'm certainly not alone.
