I think Moorser meant punch resistance rather than chin. I can see Degale being hyped to Amir Khan proportions already with this world title talk which is nonsense. He is out to prove a point so is coming out all guns blazing hence the rd 1 ko. Moore and Lee took there time against Healy as they were 10 round fights not 4 rounders.

Gavin for my money is the most talented and the most likeable by far.

Saunders would be eating alive by most supermiddles. He should drop down a few weight devisions and tone up the midriff!

They are all good though so time and better opposition will tell.

Saunders is my favourite, then Gavin ... DeGale probably has the most potential.

I voted for Saunders, I think he has the most potential.

All of them are capable of reaching the world stage though, and that is exciting for British boxing, especially when other highly touted prospects are coming through as well.

DeGale is looking very good for me so far. He is very very very fast. Looks to know his way around the ring and had the defensive side down already, which is probably the hardest thing to learn. I have heard really good things about him in sparring to. The boos seem to have stopped. He has faced the best opposition of the 4 Olympians. He does seem to slap but still did Calzaghe, and everytime he punches properly it seems to hurt the opponent. Also Healy had at least 8 weeks notice which i rare for a 4 rounder agaisnt a house fighter with a profile like DeGales.

Gavin, i feel looked great last night, but dreadful in his last two fights. He looks quick, but very skinny, no muscle on him at all. Theres plenty of rumours that he doesnt live the life and may lack the dedication needed to become a world champion.

Saunders, i think everyone agrees needs to be at least a light middle. At a lower weight he could literally dominate opponents. Tibbs seems to really rate him, he looks great but dedication could be an issue, which it usually is for gypos.

Jeffries has looked good so far, someone made a comment about him being physicly ready which is quite right, he looks in very good shape and would be a big puncher at super middleweight. as long as he has a good chin, he could go far. he throws shots very well.

I very rarely get excited watching rookies at this stage of they're careers but i was very impressed with Frankie Gavin last night.
These guys were all fighting people who seemingly dont know how to punch back but just the way Gavin was ripping them to the body and putting a few accurate combinations together, that was impressive at this stage.
Jeffries and Saunders look good but there needs to be significant improvement to reach any kind of level, they could do it but they're talent isnt as 'obvious' as Gavin's in my opinion.
I want to see Degale wiped out because i cant stand the guy, too cocky and too mouthy for what he brings to the table, he still punches like an amatuer and some of the body positions he gets into is amatuer too.
For me Degale has the furthest to go to make the grade, i havent seen him punch properly yet.
I think he's a total tit, he talks like he thinks he's the second coming of Sugar Ray Leonard .... Frankie Gavin will get a world title, Saunders maybe .. Jeffries and Degale maybe not ....

Why isn't Sutherland in the poll?

I would have liked to have seen the poll after the first fights of the Olympians. I can guarantee DeGale would not have got a fraction of the votes he has now :deal

I did consider putting him in the poll, along with another standout amateur George Groves.

Decided to focus on the 4 British Olympians. Aside from Joe Murray, don't think many have seen him yet.

Groves, Murray and Sutherland are all fighting 6 rounders, so there already ahead.

I voted for James De Gale to succeed out of all the Olympians. :deal
I think he's got a lot to learn about the pro game still but he has a natural fighting ability, power and fire in his belly.
I don't agree that he will fold under pressure at all.
If anything he seems to have a screw you, I'll do it anyway attitude and will go out fighting if he has to.

Next I vote for Frankie Gavin, the English 'Magic Man' very nice technically and not afraid to get in there.

BJ Saunders next, nice variation of shots and aggressive buts himself on the line a bit too freely.

Jeffries I've not seen enough of to comment.

I was impressed with Degale and Frankie Gavin yesterday less so BJ Saunders but I guess that was down to the opponent (Couldn't they get a better opponent). Did anyone notice that Sky didn't even show Scrivens record classic Sky that didnt want people to realise just how bad his opponent was.

I hope they can move on from this now and fight in 6 rounders against more competitve opponents. I think with the right guidance all can go far in the game I just hope that they have the hunger, desire and ambition to really push themselves and make it to the top, I have my doubts about all 3 to be honest. I think Jeffries is the only one that matches all those criteria but he is being matched poorly and will probably continue to do so because Frank Maloney seems to be happy to draw out his record because he sells tickets.

bjs boxed at welter in the ams...what the **** his he doing up at super middle...if he sorts his weight out got the potential to go far....
franki lacks real fire power when he steps up...he get found out...
degale got the slick countering skills ...got decent power...but feel when hes in the trenches he will come up short..

Yes they all have good things going for them but I cant say so far who will be the best out of the lot. This time next year would be a better time to judge who is the best out of the bunch. Warrens fighters with there 4 rounders will take longer to progress compare to the other Olympians that Moloney has. Then again Warrens fighters are younger than Moloneys so there is no real rush.
The 1 in the biggest rush is Sutherland being that bit older he needs to move on quicker than the rest and may miss out on the fights with the others. I expect to see Sutherland fighting a 10 rounder by the end of the year while Warrens lot may well still be in 4 round mode.
