We all know that: JMM vs Casa; Campbell vs Guzman fights are scheduled and it may not be until first quarter of 2009 till the winner would be available.

We also know that ****i'n Arum has Soto as back up opponent for Pac . . . if you'll have your way . . . who would you pick as Pac's opponent for the end of this year?

    Vote . . . discuss.

Well, the LW division is pretty busy these days... I say: VALERO! Let's settle this once and for all! Soto can fight for that SFW belt, Valero is having problems making 130, so fighting Manny at 135 should be the best one for the last fight for 2008 for Manny.

    Margarito. Pac fears no man.

    I'm Ok with Soto.

then he can fight the winner of either Casa/JMM or Guzman/Campbell.

Maybe by then Valero has proven he is legit and PAC/Valero would be a huge fight!

Soto is okay . . . and my first choice . . . but Valero wouldn't be a bad stay busy fight either.

I just wanted to make it clear . . . that I view a Soto fight as dangerous and a not "walk on the park" fight for Pacquiao.

He has lots of unfinished business at LW, but if he really wants to move up again, Hatton at 140 might be a megafight.

Hatton would have been the number 1 choice . . . and the most logical . . . but he is fighting Malignaggi too and won't be available till next year.

I noticed that nobody is considering Amir Khan yet . . . let me just point it out that the advantage of fighting Khan is that . . . Pac would be fighting a legit 135 pounder. :D

Then let's see what happens?

The guy is in the top 10 rankings . . . so it's not a bad fight either.

I'm just saying don't be suprised when Khan ends up picking his teeth off the canvas. Rankings these days have as much to do with who you are connected with, as they do with actual skill + accomplishments. I admit, I would watch it though. :good

Yup I got your point clearly on the ranking issue . . . but they have to justify their positions in that ranking by fighting in the ring sooner or later. :D

Soto or Valero, hope he doesn't move up after those, there are some excellent fights to be made in this division if he stays.
