There would be a lot of interesting match-ups if it were to be done.

That´s the first time I see somebody mentioning Bubi outside myself. :happy Great to see that since he´s one of my favourie fighters.

I´d like to add Felix Sturm and Charles Humez who deserve to be on that list. Another one who could be included is Peter Müller who never won something but beat, and lost to, Giardello, beat Joe Miceli and some other American mws - but got also beat easily three times by Scholz.

Would be a good idea also I think that some less-known guys will get kicked out pretty early while beeing at the level of the more known one.

LAZLO PAPP? He beat Leahy and Folledo in European fights.

i agree a very very goo dmidldewieght and possibly a unrevealed legend. but it's like people adding ayala to the likes of hagler, leonard and duran...not out of the realms of belif that ayala could beat duran or hagler (i dont personally but ya never know) but in the be all its clear we never saw him against a top prime champion or contender thus we will never see him when it mattered.

sorry papp is off the list.

Fair enough ,through no fault of his own Papp did not get a career defining fight ,politics intervened,he did however beat Harry Scott, who hols a win over Ruben Carter, and he also stopped Mueller ,[a fighter that Loewe wants to include],3 times out of 3.

As mentioned Alan Minter and Vito Antuofermo should be there also you could include George Gardiner I know he won the light heavy title but he has some good win at 160 like Kid Carter(x4), Marvin Hart, Maher (although he was past his best), went 1-1 with Walcott and he even took a green Jack Johnson the distance.

How about Marcel Thil, Erich Seelig, Pierre Langlois, Kevin Finnegan, Terry Downes, Tom Bogs and Jean Claude Boutier? Len Harvey was also a very good middle before heading to 175. With all these posts, why don't you make it 32 rather than 16?

What do you guys think of this final field of European middleweights?
    Nino Benvenuti
    Nigel Benn
    Marcel Cerdan
    Randy Turpin
    George Gardiner
    Laslo Papp
    Chris Eubank
    Arthur Abraham
    Steve Collins
    Nonpariel Jack Dempsey
    Michael Watson
    Len Harvey
    Bob Fitzsimmons
    Sumbu Kalambay
    Jock McAvoy
    Gustav Scholtz

Some tough decisions trying to trim down the field, tried to include some old, some new, wanted to stay with a 16 boxer field.
