"This night I'm the best," Werdum said. "I won this fight. But for me, Fedor is still the best. Ten years, no losses. I look at Fedor in Pride. Fedor for me is my idol. I beat my idol. Can you imagine how I feel?"

    'Bout sums it up.

Congrats Werdum! Much class! Even beating my favorite fighter he has become my second favorite fighter. THAT is how a fighter should act after a fight, not like a total twat like Lesnar.

Quality win. Eventually someone was going to land a punch on his wild stand up or a sub on his brutal ground assault. He made a mistake. It happens. If he was comprehensively beaten then I would be shocked.

Werdum is all class. Hats off to him. Fedor has nothing to be ashamed about. He is human and has never claimed not to be. He made a mistake, he got caught, and makes no excuses. Fedor is still my favorite fighter:good

The sad thing is that personalities like Fedor or Werdum are the minority among MMA fighters... especially in the UFC with this redneck "businessman" Dana White ruling it. How classy the sport of MMA could be if all fighters acted like that?

This is most definitely wrong. I feel the majority of UFC guys are classy individuals; Machida, Shogun, GSP, Carwin, Florian, Wanderlei, Forrest, Jon Jones, Anderson when hes not fighting BJJ guys, etc. What guys are you talking about exactly?

he's talking about the asshat who runs the operation.

dana's done great things for the sport, no one denies this, but the frat boy 'I want to be cool' **** has to stop.

he has to realize that eventually he'll keep the sport back, as he is essentially the face of the business and eventually that's going to put a window on things with sponsors and marketability because he doesn't know when to stop bad mouthing fighters, the media, and his competition.

imagine an nfl owner calling out his players, coaches, and other owners on a regular basis? it wouldn't fly and dana is coming to a point where it doesn't fly with mma.

can only hope that when that time comes the freittas' bros do the right thing and put him on a muzzle or fire him.

We will not know what happened until they remove Fedor's black box and go over the data. I think his circuitry went bad, he was not tapping, he was swatting a fly on Werdum's leg. He is the model 101, a learning computer.
