Last night i was at a fight in Philly and i saw a few famous faces. While my boxer, Issac Suarez, took a beatin (he was 7- 0) by a man in only his third pro fight Mondre Pope ( he looked great) :admin. Mondre Pope had a great amature record :deal. But after all the night was still made worth while becasue i was able to speak with both Nazim Richardson and Steve Cunninhami got Pics with both. Nazim had alot to say and i spoke witth him for atleast 45mins. I asked him what he thought about afew upicoming fights..... In the pbf v jmm he said that mayweather will prolly win because he is the bigger man but that jmm is a very resiliant mexican with all the heart of the mexican warrior but with a little more skill and craft than the norm...... he had alot to say about Cotto v Pac.. he said that he belived that every round that Pac made it though it will be easy to give to Pac with his flashy style and speed but he belives that Cotto will walk him down and do some damage to Pac body and maybe even stop him I also talked to him about Mosleys upcoming fight with clottley.... he said that he didnt like the fight for a few reasons 1 clottey doesnt give n e one an easy night do to his style, its hard to get through his guard. 2 If Shane does look good in this fight and dismatles clottey like has yet to be done. How will he get a fight then . Its already like hes being punished for his promance against Margo. almost a year since his fight . But none the less there gonna go in there and do the best that they can against Clottey And then finally i asked about Bhop and he said that he wants him to retire on top that not many people to and not to go out like Oscar. SO i asked how Bhop felt about it and he said that he wanted the winner of Dawson and Adamak but we will see i guess we will see. all in all good night being that i got to speak with these guys but sucked seeing Issac Suaerz lose however i will be watching This Mondre Pope i also heard Cunningham say something that he was leaving don king and tring to get with top rank and getting his belt back for n e one that caresthumbsupthumbsupthumbsup:thumbsup
Yeah it really was a pretty cool expierence honestly. I didnt think that i would be able to speak witht he man for so long i dont think that i would wanna have a conversation, that im sure hes had a million times, with a average joe for so long. Really humble man to say the least. i will post the pics when i can find my cable to my phone to upload to my computer
Nice one, interesting to hear his thoughts on the upcoming fights. I've yet to hear any 'big time' trainers or boxing scribes definitively pick JMM over Floyd...does such a thing exist?
