yeah, but you forget to mention all of those guys you showed are 6'0 or better and Floyd is 5'8" atschatschatsch.....yeah, keep hatin. LMAO. Floyd wasn't a pound over 152.
I wouldnt be surprised if there was a 15-20 lb difference on fight night. It's why people want to see him fight Mosley. I too would certainly love to see floyd fight some1 at his natural weight, and im sure it'd do wonders for his legacy. Postponing an "even" fight will only raise questions over his legacy in the future...
The fact is not everyone is a natural freak like Manny and take their speed and power up in weight, JMM looked slow and out of his fighting weight.
he didn't look slow, he simply never had a chance to show his speed. Floyd's defense won the fight not his weight.
I disagree it would of been a closer fight at 135 where JMM would of had a higher workrate and better speed.
at 135 the only difference would be that Marquez would be a little bit more dominant in the clinches, but other than that same fight. Marquez can't charge forward on that Mayweather jab, not at 144 and not at 135.
Dude your man picked a natural 130lb fighter who's max weight was at 135. Guess what. Pac destroyed Hatton in his best weight which is 140. He also destroyed Hoya who was heavily picked to knock pac out. Your boy took out every advantage JMM could have. PBF might as well ask Marquez to Tie his right hand behind his back. You need to go back to school and attend class and learn how to spell.
Mayweather was powerfull and he showed JMM that power at 147 in the 2nd after that JMM knew he was ****ed at this weight and Mayweather would counter any miss hits he does with power and speed.
The media started making a big issue a about what Floyd would weigh come fight time, so by not letting his weight be checked, Mayweather knew the media & fans, to a certain extent, would presume he's put on a load of weight! I do not know what he weighed in the ring, but going by the past & how he prepares so well for fights, I can'e see him weighing more than 150lbs in the ring! I could be wrong, but he has not in the past! The theory about the layoff can go out the window aswell. Floyd keeps himself in condition so its not as if he had to lose lots of weight in preparation!
168 at the weigh in is not the same as 168 of fight not..ignorant rookie fan. It's okay you're learning. :good I think PBF weighed about 160 give or take a couple.
Thanks for that, I had absolutely no idea. Although in a massive coincidence, must have got lucky I guess, it turns out I actually posted pictures from the weigh ins, not the fights, so they will be weighing 168 after all.
