The dude is a little superstitious philippino guy.
He's not some conniving cheat trying to get one over on the people.

The dude already beat Morales/Barrera/Marquez multiple times. Why on earth would he all the sudden take roids to take on guys who aren't as good as them?!??!

    Hatton?
Cotto?(i love him, but margarito ruined him)
    Old DLH at 147?

Who the **** needs roids to do that?

Go watch Pac/Barrera 1 and tell me you don't see that he is even BETTER now with his right hand and movement.

i just think its awfuly suspicious...you carry on your argument as Pac and his team have done...ANYONE with half a brain would see how this could make anyone suspicious.....can you call him guilty...no...but got dayum you can suspect it....and unfortunately having such allegations out there even though there is no evidence but you are given the chance to clear yourself...i cant see anyone who wouldnt jump to do this.

Reg, yopu've stated that many times.

And so have other logic-challenged posters.

And it's been explained to you many times.

Floyd doesn't set the rules. It's a point of principle. Pac doesn't need the fight.

If Floyd wants the fight, just sign on the dotted line.

As with many others, you don't appear to have the ability to think.

An unfounded accusation, based on nothing, does not need to be refuted.

If it did, Pac would simply take the tests. But as there was never any reason to make the allegation, there is no reason to refute it.

And, as has been pointed out, Pac could simply take the tests and come up clean.

Even if he were on juice, he would clearly NOT be on it if he was being tested.

He could get his money and fight as an underdog.

But you don't seem to get the point.

Floyd tried to set the rules.

Manny invited him to go **** himself. And later, to have a circle-jerk with his daddy and unca Roja.

I would be disappointed in Pac if he agreed to any tests not mandated by a boxing commission.

I won't assume Pac is guilty w/o concrete evidence. I do however deem him as a suspect. Any time the positives outweigh the negatives and you walk away from just a few extra blood tests, a cloud of suspicion will hover over your head. I'm well aware you have a right to make choices. And I respect that. But the choices you make reflect your character. By walking away Manny is telling his fans he won't take a few extra steps in order to make the fight happen. He gave them a watered-down version of a fight when they deserve more than that. The Clottey fight was very predictable and the result was even worse.

And you're saying I don't think? Pac's rep is going through the shits right now and many people aren't sure of him, all because he opted not to be tested. The only ones that acted as if Pac took the high road by not being tested because he felt there was nothing to refute are a the *******s.
I heard females at my work the other day discussing pac, they were fans, and they even said his not taking the tests was really weird. I wasn't even part of the convo but overheard it. Make no mistake, Pac is hurting his rep. You think by walking away from the testing was going to help him? lol This is the whole reason everyone now thinks he could very well be hiding something.

It may have seemed to be a baseless allegation but funny how it doesn't seem baseless anymore all because of pac's action preceding that fight falling apart.

And how was Floyd trying to dictate the rules. It was Manny that was picking the gloves and making PBF pay the 1 million for each lb over weight. Mayweather obliged his requests though.

You can try to continue acting like Pac is some wonder hero and can do no wrong. But my ability to think this out rationally is obviously letting me see things a little clearer than yourself.

That's all fine and dandy. I never thought pac was on roids by anything he's done in the ring. It's him saying he can test on certain days but not wanting to test on other days and leaving 30 mill behind for a teaspoon of blood. A clean man doesn't do that, a clean man allows testing whenever they feel the need to conduct it. 14 days before the fight was very reasonable, I mean what's the difference between 20 and 14 if you're clean? lol:patsch

Because you are blind. You don't want to accept Pacquiao's excuse. If you remove your hate you'll understand.

OK let put this to a test.

The reason Manny gave is that drawing blood makes him feel weak. The man is superstitious as most top athletes are and he believes that drawing blood from him close to the fight affects him negatively. There is a precedent for that so he didn't just pull that excuse from thin air.

This is Manny's reason plain and simple. Now if you can prove to me that that statement is false I will concede that you are right, and Manny is just a load of BS.

    Waiting....

August 04, 2006|By Henry K. Lee, Chronicle Staff Writer

(08-04) 11:58 PDT SAN FRANCISCO — 2006-08-04 11:58:00 PDT SAN FRANCISCO -- A federal judge sentenced the chemist who created "the Clear," the undetectable designer drug at the heart of the BALCO steroid scandal, to three months in prison and three months of house arrest today on a charge of conspiring to distribute steroids.

Patrick Arnold, 40, an executive with a nutritional supplements laboratory in Champaign, Ill., must surrender by Sept. 19 to begin serving his sentence, U.S. District Judge Susan Illston said at a hearing in San Francisco.
