- 10 round fights in group stages and semi-finals. The shorter the fights the shorter the camps and time frame between rounds, the current tourney is progressing a bit too slow due to various reasons - world title(s) on the line only in the final, terms negotiated with the sanctioning bodies. The current structure can result in extreme cases: if Green loses to Ward but beats Kessler, he falls out and brings the WBA title with him - 10 international judges and 5 referees for the entire tournament, selected by the sanctioning bodies with the agreement of all promoters before the tourney starts - everyone must travel at least once - extra cash for a knockout - a huge media event after each round with all the fighters, trainers, managers, promoters and media involved. Would be awesome to see Froch, Dirrell, Ward, Abraham, Kessler and Green all in the same room together, having a chat or a war of words, answering media questions, doing some promo stuff etc. - a bit longer Fight Camp 360 episodes, it is an awesome show and ready to expand it's time frame - former Super Six winner/fighter in the commentating/promo team - a high quality, reasonably priced, internationally available internet stream - Super Six merchandising, t-shirts and Super Six logoed sport stuff, games and other cool things - better fan involvement, Facebook and different 21st Century channels, weekly internet/mobile chats or something like that to keep up the buzz - the next Super Six should be a Middleweight tournament including Gennady Golovkin, Danny Jacobs, Fernando Guerrero, David Lemieux, Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam and either Matthew Macklin or Andy Lee - the light-welter division is obviously all-HBO and Showtime has weak positions at 126 and 147lbs too, so my 2nd (dream) suggestion would be bantamweight with Fernando Montiel, Hozumi Hasegawa, Nonito Donaire, Abner Mares, Jonnhy Perez and Cermeno/Moreno
Some great proposals there BigBone. Particularly with regards to having conditions and refs etc pre determined. Takes away a lot of the bull****. Fighting every 3-4 months would be great. It would move it along nicely. As it stands in its current layout, fighters in their 30s may not be able to see the competition out due to declining ability.
