No, you should definitely trust Floyd over Manny to make adjustments for sure. Not disagreeing there But, also on Manny not making adjustments, that's a myth. Bradley and Algieri will both tell you. Algieri is a thinking boxer, and he called Manny's adjustments "flawless". Manny is a thinking-boxer of his own type. I promise you. Not to Floyd's level, but there has to be some ring genius for Manny to be where he's at in the sport. He's very crafty, strategic, more than people think.
What PBF haters like yourself love to leave out of that fight is that PBF got cut for the first time in his career pretty early in that fight round 3 or 4. It took him a while to get used to that, since it never happened before. If he hadn't got cut he would have won those two rounds that he lost because of it. If PBF never got cut in that first Maidana fight Maidana would have won 2 or 3 rounds at most.
If this would have come from someone like JMM it would carry more weight. Algieri to be quite honest was just happy to be there. I can admit that Pac has become a better boxer later in his career.
Omfg, then he better hope he doesn't get cut by Manny who will be wearing his own cleto-reyes gloves (that are known for giving cuts) and throwing 10 punches in a sequence. If Mayweather gets cut early, do you think that could possibly change the outcome of the fight?
Well the guy who has fought only 2 of his 10 fights at 147 against men who actually won a fight at 147 the fight before, 6 of 10 against unranked opposition at 147, and 4 of those bouts against men who had never won a fight in their career at 147 should be the fresher man as he's taken on more light touches than his opponent has. You can come to your own conclusions about who I am talking about.
Timing and superior footwork. How is Manny Pacquiao going to deal with the superior timing of Floyd Mayweather? That is the bigger question and one I've yet to see answered.
Mayweather's footwork is also superlative and his stamina has never been questioned. Watch on Saturday and you will see how Floyd deals with the movement.
Yes it could just like any other fighter but with PBF more so PBF depends a lot on his vision. Look at his eyes when he fights he's super focused on being able to see and anticipate what his opponent is doing because he's a thinking man's fighter.
Depends if Floyd has enough rounds to adjust and time Pac. If Floyd adjust by mid rounds, will he have enough rounds to time Pac? Pac has said they came up with several adjustment plans themselves. He says if Floyd does this then we will do this, if Floyd do this we will do that etc. etc. Pac may very well run out of pre planned adjustments near the end of the fight. But will that be enough time for Floyd?
By superior feints and superior foot-speed. It's hard to time someone who is feinting you, let alone has blistering hand-speed, unorthodox, and fights in broken rhythms.
